Love retracting bristles!
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The features on this Slicker brush by Ruff 'N Ruffus are exceptional. The retractable bristles and clicking mechanism work great on both our dogs coats. I liked how the hair came to the top when the bristles were retracted. The grip is hefty and my hand didn't slip at all. The clippers have the same great grip strength and the steel clipped their nails really easily and crisp clean cut. Would recommend for any dogs medium coat length for sure. Very impressed with construction of kit.

Nice Set for Price
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This kit is pretty cute. It comes with the brush and clippers packaged in an adorable zipper top bag decorated with a dog. The brush worked well on my German Shepherd's coat. I would purchase this again to give this as a gift to a new pet owner.
Not for my puppy
I read an article about the best brush for mini schnauzers and this one was highly recommended. My Max hates this brush. It hurts him and he jumps and whines. The teeth are metal, but have plastic balls on the ends. Still, it hurts him and he is not tangled nor matted. My be a great brush, but not for a puppy under 5 pounds.
