The new Ruffwear harness is perfect because she can’t pull out of it. In the meantime, we will continue working on her recall.

Kaylee is a rescue Rhodesian mix extremely shy .. we have purchase several harness in the past she could and did escape from them all. When we purchase Ruffwear double strap a miracle happened. No more escaping .. she stands still while we strap her in she loves the harness. Vet trips are now happy trips. My granddaughter recommend the harness and suggested I order the double strap.

Size too large

I measured Joni’s girth and neck which said Small was right for her. Unfortunately it was too loose. She’s a small/medium labradoodle and I think her body shape

I measured Joni’s girth and neck which said Small was right for her. Unfortunately it was too loose. She’s a small/medium labradoodle and I think her body shape didn’t fit the sizing criteria. I’ve bought a size XS of this same harness. So far she’s in between sizes with XS about 1/2 too small.

The material is very firm and heavy, especially for a small dog.

It wasn’t the correct size however due to the rigid material I won’t exchange it and won’t use this one. Very disappointed given the cost.

I've had two of these before for my Great Dane. Once every couple of years or two he gets a hold of it and tears it apart (It's actually pretty tough but so is

I've had two of these before for my Great Dane. Once every couple of years or two he gets a hold of it and tears it apart (It's actually pretty tough but so is he). I got this one and I was surprised to see some improvement. 1) The best improvement is that they've created more cushion on the area that goes into the front arm pit. 2) There's now a snap clip for the neck area of the harness. 3) There's now an underside hook and a hanging hook for putting it up on the coat rack. It was the best harness before but now it's better!

Difficult to Use for Me

The dog has to step his leg in through one of the loops to get into this. My pup is not enthused. Also I find the clips hard to open. They are under stiff fabric

I hate it!

I hate this harness! It is hard and stiff - like carton board. I need a secure harness for my puppy and got this in an XXS, measuring according to the instructions

I hate this harness! It is hard and stiff - like carton board. I need a secure harness for my puppy and got this in an XXS, measuring according to the instructions. Yet the harness is too big for my dog. It also doesn’t conform to his body at all - it’s like he’s wearing a doghouse or a thick shoebox. The fabric is strong, I’m sure, but it’s very rough, like sandpaper. The harness is also very thick, padded, and heavy. I would feel sorry for my dog if he was wearing this in the summer heat. I truly hate this harness and will not be using it. I have another on order for my second pup which I’ll be returning immediately. Sadly, I threw out the packaging for this one and am probably stuck with it. I do not recommend this product at all.

Won’t stay tight

I ordered the correct size based on measurements for my German Shepherd but this harness won’t stay tight and constantly slides to where the leash is attached to

I ordered the correct size based on measurements for my German Shepherd but this harness won’t stay tight and constantly slides to where the leash is attached to her side. It would be great if the adjusters would stay tight. Also the belly strap hits her across the ribs (she’s long) and seems uncomfortable.
