I’ve used this for about a year now and purchased bottle cleaners to clean inside and the front cup for drinking. I frequently get scraped by the rusty screws inside that mount it to the wall and now finding green microplastics in the tank. Not comfortable with continuing to offer to my chickens.
Garbage. Do not buy.

Poor design in so many ways. Water "bucket" that they drink from screws into the tube, but it doesn't screw in straight, so it leaks nonstop. Plus, when the tube is full of water, the pressure of the water doesn't allow the bobber mechanism to work properly, so it never stops feeding the "bucket" so it leaks nonstop. Also, if you mount it from the outside of your coop, the water "bucket" doesn't stick out enough to reach to the inside of the coop. And if you mount it flush to the wall of your coop, the lid doesn't fit. Again, poor design all the way around. Garbage.
Works Great, Saves Space
Despite the mounting hardware making me wary, the tube works without leaks. Took the chickens less than a minute to figure it out. I tapped the water with my finger

Waterer started leaking after 26 days of use. The float allows water to constantly flow into the cup. I am unable to adjust it. I have the cup positioned so the chickens cannot sit on it or bump into it so I don't think that is the cause. I love the concept and so do my chickens; they choose this waterer over the other one in their coop.
These makes backyard chickens easier!!
I needed convenience and these deliver! They are made well and they attach well! Screwing in the hooks will NOT make them leak from the screw holes! I asked as well
I needed convenience and these deliver! They are made well and they attach well! Screwing in the hooks will NOT make them leak from the screw holes! I asked as well and they dont! These free up lots of floor space in my little coop and I wish I would have started with these, both the waterer and feeder. Definitely recommend, worth the price!
Good idea
Couldn't get it to stop leaking. A great idea, but didn't work well for our coop.

It gets gross inside, and chickens didn't like to use it.

I tried to use this first in my coop thinking it would spill less and they wouldn't be able to roost on it and poop into it. It ended up leaking sometimes, and only one bird could drink at a time so they seemed frustrated with it. The inside also would get mildew and it was very difficult to clean. I gave up on it after a couple of weeks.

It's very convenient to be able to give our chickens a week's worth of water at a time. My only suggestion is that the screws packaged with the waterer are not corrosion resistant and will eventually rust. Supergluing the hooks onto the waterer worked better for me. I used Gorilla Superglue.
Great water, somewhat challenging to put together if you are short.
This waterer is pretty dang awesome honestly. It took no time for our birds to take to it and I have already been able remove our old ground feeder! That said,
This waterer is pretty dang awesome honestly. It took no time for our birds to take to it and I have already been able remove our old ground feeder! That said, the water cup(drip?) piece does not come pre installed and you have to install it by reaching an arm in to secure a bolt to the threading on the drip piece. Let me say for someone that is a whole 5 ft 2 inches, that was a big challenge and my partner was no help either as his arms were to big to reach all the way in. I managed to get it after a while, but I don't look forward to having to clean this in the future for that aspect alone.
Leaks
Tried 2 different types of tape to prevent leaking, but to no avail
