My dog normally has itchy skin and I thought this would help but it’s making my dogs skin flake super bad. She was not having skin problems like this before. It also does not suds up well at all so all in all do not recommend.
Made my dog's skin worse
Used this once, and shortly after, the expensive hassle began. My dog was dealing with dry skin, as well as hair loss. Tried a patch test, all seemed fine. When it was stone for a shower and this was used, he was immediately covered in open wound sores. His dry skin got worse, his skin was bleeding, he was extremely distressed. Took him to the vet where he was put on antibiotics and had blood tests run. $240 later he still had dry skin, we didn't use this anymore, but the damage seemed done. Took him back to the vets, and a $275 bill later, he was put on antibiotics, a prescribed shampoo for dermatitis, and fish oil. Do NOT buy this product.
The more the better
With RX 4 Pets' organic and natural ingredients and multiple health benefits, this shampoo is certainly our favorite. Considering the controversial topic of how often should we wash our pets, it seems like there is no harm from this one -- the more the better. Shiny silky fur and a nice smell -- it's all worth a reasonably frequent wash. I have a 6-month kitten and wash her every two weeks (I did more often when she was younger). We used this shampoo for many years with our previous cat and we're loyal to our choice. Seems like once a month wash for our active and super curious kitty will be our bet when she reaches the adulthood.
Rx4 Workz!!!
My vry 1st purchase of this product was in June 2020 for my 18yrz old Chi-weeny Anubis who was loose'n his coat due 2 his 11yrz battle wit cancer & my 9yrz old American Shorthair Domestic Senior Feline Mystyk in the same month. Sadly our Anubis pass'd in July 24th.2020 a vry clean canine. Rx4 kept Anubis smell'n vry pleasant d last few weekz our family had wit him instead of a urine smell as he had bcom incontinent & we had 2 wash his beddings 3x/daily & had 2 bath him 3x/wkly wit Rx4 dat help'd Anubis frm shed'n a gr8t amount of his coat frm d cancer. Mystyk had dermatitis & was vry itchy & miserable. It was worth d fight try'n 2 get our feline n2 our bathtub 2 give him a bath wit Rx4 n which Mystyk was vry mad @ me aftr his bath 2x/wkly but he wasn't 2 mad @ me once he realized dat he wasn't itchy scratchy & was able 2 get a peaceful restful night'z sleep r a cat nap & his coat was grow'n back n all of d patches he was naw'n & pull'n out. Sadly he pass'd Aug 11th, 2021. Now we hav a new family ESA member & I still hav my vry 1st bottle of Rx4 dat I use on my 9mth old Rottweiler which helps him wit his flaky skin each wk I bathe him. So, 1 bottle of Rx4 last a vry long time & it's worth d price u pay 4 it. It DOES NDEED DO WUT IT ACTUALLY SAYZ IT DOES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AS I AM JUS BUY'N MY 2ND BOTTLE. It got my family thru Anubis'cancer who we had a 3 day private cremation ceremony July 24th-27th, 2020 & his bestie Mystyk we had a private same day burial ceremony for him n Aug 11th, 2021. They are both truly miss'd. But they both had peace of mind & body when they left us for The Rainbow Bridge & I'm vry glad that I finally bought a product that does wut d label sayz it does, vry economical, last me Frm June 2020 thru November 2021 on 1 bottle, but most importantly 2 my family members & friends of our family that Anubis & Mystyk pass'd comfortably not itchy scratchy n d comfort of their own home in peace. Mystyk pass'd away from natural causes of his senior age for his large domestic breed has a life span of 6-7 years of age. Mystyk pass'd @ 10yrz of age. This 1 bottle of Rx4 got us thru an ntire year (whole 12 mths)+plus an additional 5 mthz. I love d smell it leaves on all of my former besties & my new fur Baby WhyzkeyT & how his coat is silky soft & vry shiny. WhyzkeyT lovez bath time. Pups with skin conditions
I was very nervous about purchasing anymore shampoos or conditioners for my long haired Chihuahua with eczema and serious dandruff. I ended up ordering RX after reading every review posted under this product. I washed him 3 times as stated on the bottle and could tell the difference instantly as he dried. There was no itching/scratching during our drying process. Since then, his coat looks healed from the dandruff and he hasn't had "ants in his pants" since. So grateful for this product!! I would recommend to anyone's whose pup has dry coat problems.

This shampoo smells so great I want to use it for myself it works great too ! Got the dandruff off of my cats hair.
Not worth the money
Product is very watery and doesn't seem to do a good job cleaning my dogs...scent doesn't hold up either.
