This supplement can be pinched with a pin and squeezed into food. It has a nutty flavor and should not affect palatability.

Giddie up for CHF pup

Our 13yo Schnauzer was diagnosed with CHF May 2022; did some research on the disease. Apparently Ubiquinone is naturally produced in the dog’s body but wanes with age and is commonly critically low in dogs with CHF. Found interesting article on the benefits of COQ10 “and” Omegas when added to veterinary prescriptions. After okayed with Vet, I ordered this (and Wellactin Omegas) and started Oscar (20 lbs) on this supplement; 1 tablet daily with dinner. After one month, he was a different dog! Charging up and down steps, leaping onto furniture and excited about walks and “playing?”. We couldn’t believe the difference in the quality of his life; we had considered euthanasia a couple months before. Now it’s as if the clock has wound back 5 years. His appetite has improved as well, before we had to coerce him to eat, now he begs for food-all the energy he is expelling now. If you’re thinking of trying this, go for it! Give it a good 4-6 weeks to see the changes. Oscar gets a teeny bit of liverwurst on his pills-helps!

Difficult to give to pets

I have small dogs and cats that I got these for however trying to pierce them and get them in food is almost impossible and they ignore the whole capsule - probably too big for cats anyway. This did not work.

cat loves it, benefits readily obvious

was giving my cat another brand of coq10 oil in a pump bottle, but it was out of stock for several months and then the product finally returned but some things had been changed. so i got this instead and my cat likes it even more than the other one. i snip a hole in the gelcap and squirt it in her mouth. she is geriatric with kidney/thyroid/etc issues, and coq10 makes a noticeable difference in her overall health. she looks forward to this oil as a kind of treat.

Difficult to administer

I wish there was a liquid form of this, but I bought this after reading in other reviews that you can pierce the capsule to get the liquid out. I have a cat, and this pill is way too big for her. I pierced the pill to put the liquid in her wet food, and not all the liquid comes out, and it must have some kind of taste as she usually eats around it. I can't really speak to whether or not it works (she has feline hyperesthesia and the vet recommended it) because I wasn't able to get her to take enough of it.

Good product

Showed this to my vet and he recognized the brand as a good product. I’m giving it to my geriatric cat. Gel tabs are too big for this small cat. I cut the tab and squeeze the contents into her food.
