I see that it has garlic- which concerns me to feed to the cats (frequently) not concerned about the dog but since I have both--

Using garlic in the diet or as a supplement for any of its health benefits is not likely to cause problems for healthy dogs and cats. Garlic, when used in small amounts, can help support the immune system, liver and cardiovascular system prevents blood clots and reduces cholesterol/fat build up in the blood and heart. Also, it aides in the fight against bacterial, viral and fungal infections and increases the rate of killing off parasites and is great for palatability.

My Holistic Dr highly recommended it especially for dogs with gastrointestinal issues. So far it’s been working better than reg strength proviable and I just sprinkle it into their food twice daily and they gobble their food up. It’s much easier to give this way than to try to get another pill into them. It’s also more cost efficient too. Thank you Chewy for starting to carry it! Yahoooooo

This gave my sweet boy the worst stomach issues. His belly was making horrible noises and he was having to get outside to poo over 5 times in a day. It gave him diarrhea that was literally leaking out of his backside, he couldn't even make it outside. He has never had an accident on the floor like that (since he was a puppy and first training and he is now 12 yrs). Now trying to get his belly back to where it was. I would just suggest being careful when trying it. Maybe once the body is used to it, but I'm not willing to continue.

Our vet recommended this and the RXZyme when we got our dog from the shelter. He had a lot of inflammation in his eyes and ears, as well as an upset stomach. This (along with her improved dietary recommendations) solved everything almost right away. He is doing great now!
