The Safari Plastic Pin and Bristle Combo Brush combines all the benefits of a pin brush and a bristle brush into one convenient grooming tool! The wire pins work to easily remove loose hair and debris from your dog’s fur, while the bristles help distribute natural oils throughout your dog’s coat for a soft, shiny look. This brush is paw-fect for all breeds and coat types, so it’s especially useful in multi-pet homes!

For coats with mats or tangles, use a comb or rake to detangle the hair prior to brushing. Starting at the head, move toward the tail, then down the legs using long strokes that follow the direction of hair growth. The pin brush can also be used to fluff the coat by brushing against the direction of hair growth.
Maremma sheepdog and husky approved! Brushing is a real chore for both of these sensitive and impatient dogs. They generally hate brushing in general and LOTHE sensitive area brushing even though they both love belly rubs. The big fluffy white maremma generally won't allow a brush on his belly and with the different hair types all over him I had been using 4 different kinds of brushes (including a similar bristle brush) and he hated them all. The pile in the picture is 5 minutes of belly brushing that he invited by rolling onto his back when I got the brush. I don't know why it is different than every other brush I have tried over the last 6 years, but to him, it is, and it works, so I am thrilled!
I have a Golden Retriever, and the brush works great on her. Good brush. Reasonable price.
My dog seems to enjoy the brush. It works very well at removing loose undercoat hair.
Great to use makes dogs hair really fluffy and soft is good for a short haired dog and very easy to clean like you would a humans brush
Description is accurate. I have three small, older dogs, each with a different type of hair/fur. All three enjoy a good brushing. I do caution users to apply very limited pressure when using the "pin" side of the brush on pups as the pins are quite stiff and will damage their skin if you are not careful.
My dog may not agree with me, but this is a good brush. It was recommended by one of your staff members, & she was right. I bought a smaller version, my mistake. I was given credit for it & free shipping for my new purchases. That's customer service!
I really like this brush. It does well on both hair textures of my schnauzer. As always shipping with Chewy was super fast.
I have a very heavy coated dog who can get mats. While this won’t work for mats it can help prevent them if used regularly. Also, she doesn’t like the mat breaker, she tolerates this brush pretty well.
I have a labradoodle with very curly hair and this brush works great. If you have a long-haired dog who struggles with knots and mats, this brush is perfect.
Love this brush. Shipping was super fast. It’s a great size and very useful.
