Good for senior dogs
My 13yr old lab really likes this brush. The wire brush I’ve been using for years is too harsh on his skin. This brush is much more comfortable for him.

Not German Shepard approved
Not German Shepard approved, if your dog has a long coat this isn't the right brush. Its a comfortable brush, but doesn't collect any hair which defeats the point
Not German Shepard approved, if your dog has a long coat this isn't the right brush. Its a comfortable brush, but doesn't collect any hair which defeats the point. The texture is similar to a pencil eraser on the brush side. I ended up getting a deshedder brush with metal teeth and it does the job, especially when going through the puff twice a year.
