What is it made of?

This item is made of wood (MDF) and the cushion is made of faux fur.

Would it be possible to assemble without attaching the front cover/hole opening, so that larger cats could still use the cube?

Its a hit!

Easy to put together and they jumped in it right away. bonus, when I went away for a few days I took the faux fur cusion along and they felt at home on it.

A nice looking piece

Since there were no reviews when I purchased this, I was a little hesitant, but it wound up being a good buy overall. It looks nice in the room, and measurements

Since there were no reviews when I purchased this, I was a little hesitant, but it wound up being a good buy overall. It looks nice in the room, and measurements are as described. Assembly wasn’t too bad (no Allen wrench required but a screwdriver is useful- a drill even more so). My reason for knocking a star off is because the pieces looked used to me- they were dirty and there a few minor knicks, etc. Perhaps I was given a return? It doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things, but it isn’t inexpensive so it was a bit disappointing. Overall, though, I think it’s great! It’s in my guest room/office/foster cat room, and I think it will be a hit!
