Whenever a litter leaves, I spend four or five hours doing a deep clean of the dedicated room they're in. It's really important to decontaminate, whether or the issue has been Ringworm, upper respiratory infection, panleuk or combinations. I love to have Places where they can jump up, hide behind, climb on and just have so much fun playing. The problem is most of those cat houses or small towers are fabric or other porous materials, like the hammocks, cardboard, scratchers, etc. I chose this because it's mostly non-porous and can be cleaned with Rescue. The top pad can be thrown in the washer on extra hot water and Rescue sprayed on the rope, even though that's probably not perfect.

Perfect for our needs

When we were moving in, our cat loved lounging on the unpacked box in the living room... and was not happy when we unpacked it and she had no box to sit on! So we got this little cat tree and put it in the place where the box used to be... and she has taken to lounging on it. (I say 'little' because we also have a cat tree that's taller than I am.) It's about as high as that box was. To my surprise, I have also caught her scratching the pole (she's a big cat and I didn't think she'd comfortably be able to!) and lounging on the base of the cat tree. The faux fur covering was easy to remove and wash.

Decent Cat tree

The construction of this item is good but the only downfall is when my cat goes to stratch it, it it's stable so it makes it hard. It slides too easily on hard floors

The construction of this item is good but the only downfall is when my cat goes to stratch it, it it's stable so it makes it hard. It slides too easily on hard floors. I also haven't seen her get on the top yet. I thought she might since she likes laying on soft blankets.

Smaller than expected

I thought it’d be a bit bigger but honestly happy the way it is because it doesnt take up too much space and it matched my night stand:) My cat finally uses it,

I thought it’d be a bit bigger but honestly happy the way it is because it doesnt take up too much space and it matched my night stand:) My cat finally uses it, she realizes its hers and she sleeps on it occasionally. If you want a small, modern and what i call a “cat chair” this is definitely great for u!
