Within 2 hours after birth: follow the mixing and feeding directions on the package. Feed Sav-A-Caf Calf Colostrum Supplement along with at least 2 quarts of clean, disease-free maternal colostrum using a nipple bottle. 6-12 hours later: Provide a second feeding of colostrum. Day 2: Begin feeding calf milk replacer. If maternal colostrum is not available feed 2 full pouches of Sav-A-Caf Calf Colostrum Supplement or Colostrum Replacer as soon after birth as possible.
