This is my first pair of ScootBoots (well any type of boot really) my gelding is sensitive footed. So far so good. He goes really well in them and there are a few hard spots in the arena that he no longer is worried about. He was in steel shoes and after him pulling a shoe just before Christmas break, I realized that as much as I love my farrier, I was tired of being bound in such a way (yes, he was even wearing bell boots). They are easy to apply and he seems to like them. Of course I had to get the pretty straps to match. As far as measuring, I had actually has Scootboot recommend the size based upon pictures I sent them and then watched a ton of fitment videos. With our soft florida sand, I am sure they will last us a while.

I have been using scoot boots for a long time and I love them for my barefoot horse. They are difficult to get the right size, so if you are able to try some on from a farrier or friend I recommend that. Otherwise this product is very durable for riding and turn out.

Sizing is very difficult

Sizing is a complete hassle and when you call scoot boot you do not get an answer and they do not call you back. Scoot boot has very poor customer service.
