I decided to try different pads looking for something thicker. These pads are thick and good quality. My only complaint is that they do not stay put on the floor, so sometimes when my dog uses them, she moves them which is not good when the pad is wet (this is not an issue I had with my previous pads which did not have any kind of adhesive). Other than that, it was a good purchase.

I really like these pee pads, they seem to be thicker than “normal” pee pads plus the quilting adds a bit more absorbency. Liquid actually seems to sit under the top layer instead of turning it it to a soaking mess. When my pets would walk over a used pee pad before I could pick it up, there were soak footprints. Now, if they step in it IMMEDIATELY after it gets wet, they will get some liquid on their paws but not nearly as much. It takes about 20 seconds to absorb (tested with water) and the surface is only slightly damp. The only drawbacks and why I didn’t give this 5 stars is when the liquid absorbs, it turns into what feels like a gel and it is EXTREMELY slippery if you happen to step on it. The backing is also slick so I would not recommend these to cover a large area or in a boarding/shelter situation. This would be a good one-spot solution.

Our senior dog has recently had some urinary issues right when she gets to the door to let us know she has to go outside. These pads have been perfect to place right at the entry of the door for any accidents.

These Scott Pet Guard Advanced Dog Pads are excellent! The XL size (36x30) is big enough to give my dogs plenty of space. They really do absorb well—I’ve noticed they hold up for hours without leaking, even with a bigger dog(I have a golden retriever and a corgi) I also like that they come neatly packed in the box, easy to grab one pad at a time. The training scent seems to help attract my pup to use it, which is a big plus. Highly recommend these if you need strong, reliable, and generously sized pads. Definitely worth it!

I have three dogs: Sadie (15lb, blonde), Oliver (18lb, black), and Sheila (22lb, grey). None of my dogs regularly use pee pads, but I do use them on occasion when they are home alone for long periods. I like these pads a lot - they are large, soft, and feel very durable. Sadie happily used the clean pads to lay on (lol). They seem to keep moisture on the pad and do not leak onto the floor when the moisture hits the edges. This size could easily be used for a much larger dog.

As a mom that had puppy in the house, I used pee pads quite often. It’s hard to find a high-quality, absorbent, large pee pad for these large puppies. Even though I no longer have a puppy in my household, it’s great to keep these on hand in case we have any visitors that have a hard time holding their potty. You will even find me using them out in my barn. They are a great tool for donkeys that abscess quite frequently. Nice and strong as well as waterproof to help hold medication into the hoof. A bit of a different way to use it, but it works well!

I like the very large size which covers the floor well. Pads are absorbent, they dry quickly they dont rip easily. Packaging is compact so it's easy to store

I like the very large size which covers the floor well. Pads are absorbent, they dry quickly they dont rip easily. Packaging is compact so it's easy to store. However they are not good about masking the scent of urine. There was definitely a noticeable scent which filled the area around the pad prior to the urine drying
