Instructions
Store between 50˚F - 70˚F.
Fill the SecureDog diffuser with the 2.7-fl oz solution supplied in the bottle. Insert the 8 sticks into the diffuser. When the dispenser is empty, discard the sticks, rinse the dispenser and dry it thoroughly, then refill it with a new SecureDog home refill kit.

Helpful but not sure it's worth the price

I tried the SecureDog™ Home Calming Diffuser as a little “test run” for my household, especially since I just brought home a brand-new puppy who’s getting used to crate training. The diffuser has no scent at all. Some people might love that, but I personally wish it had even a light, fresh smell to help the area where my dogs hang out feel cleaner. I keep it near the puppy’s crate, and she does seem a bit more settled and content, so I think it helps at least a little. None of my dogs have actual anxiety issues, so it’s hard to say if it would make a big difference for pups who really struggle. My biggest downside is the lifespan. The instructions say it only lasts about 4 weeks. For the price, that feels a bit steep. On the bright side, the bottle design is simple and modern, so it doesn’t clash with home décor. Overall, I’m on the fence. It seems to help a bit, but I’m not sure it’s something I’d repurchase regularly unless the longevity improves or even an added fresh scent.

With multiple dogs in our home, SecureDog helps keep them calmer. It's particularly noticeable in our oldest dog who has recently begun to show signs of age-related stress behavior. It has not eliminated her stress, it does seem to have reduced her stress behaviors. Some dogs react more strongly to this product than others. It works well with our oldest dog but does not have as much effect on the youngest. The diffuser fits in with the decor in the living room since it is so small. The frosted glass container has the product name on one side, but it can easily be turned around so that the plain side faces out. No one will even notice that it is a dog product. The DAP (dog appeasing pheromone) mimics pheromones produced by dog moms when they have a litter of puppies. It helps to keep the puppies content. I highly recommend this natural method to help your fur babies stay calm in stressful situations.

I placed it near where my dog lays often and I noticed he seemed to be slightly less reactive to stimuli over the past week. I am hopeful this continues!

I assembled the bottle, oil, & diffuser sticks as directed and placed on a shelf near our dogs bed. I think the picture speaks for itself! Our lab has separation anxiety so I was excited to try this product. The product is long lasting and the bottle itself is cute.

After trying this product out for a few weeks, I can tell that it does not do what it claims and I’m quite disappointed. I will be looking for alternative options.
