About This Item

Details

With its innovative delivery system, these tick collars offer a breakthrough in tick and flea control for precious pup and your furry feline. You’ll receive the Seresto Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs, over 18-lbs + Flea & Tick Collar for Cats, both of which are veterinarian recommended treatments to repel and kill fleas on contact. Inside the unique polymer matrix of this easy-to-use, non-greasy, odorless collar are two active ingredients: imidacloprid to control flea infestations, and flumethrin to repel and kill ticks, larvae and nymphs. These ingredients work together to provide dual-action protection against parasitic pests for up to eight months!

Where does chewy get their supply of collars ?

Answer by ScherryJan 12, 2025
They come from Germany.

Are these breakaway collars?

Answer by ChewySep 20, 2021
Because some pet owners may be concerned that a cat or small dog could get stuck while wearing a collar, Seresto is designed with a safety release mechanism. In the unlikely event of the cat being trapped, the cat's own strength is sufficient to widen the collar to allow for quick release.A hard pull causes the ratchet-release mechanism to allow a widening of the collar. The small dog and cat collars are equipped with a predetermined breaking point. A harder pull triggers the breaking of the collar at this point.

Will this collar work on a 80 pound dog

Answer by ChewyJul 05, 2021
Seresto Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs, over 18 pounds, can be used on dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age and older, and weighing over 18 pounds. Seresto Flea & Tick Collar for Cats is intended for cats and kittens 10 weeks of age and older.

I have two cats, can both of them have collar on at the same time?

Answer by ChewyDec 12, 2021
Each pet should have their own individual collar for it to be effective. It is important to note that this bundle includes a dog collar and cat collar, which are not interchangeable between species.

Great Value

Seresto is an amazing product. I would never have tried it except years ago, when the breeder I got my Great Dane from recommended them, as you save tons of money

Seresto is an amazing product. I would never have tried it except years ago, when the breeder I got my Great Dane from recommended them, as you save tons of money on flea and tick prevention. I used these products for years. We now have 2 new puppies and a cat and these collars are working just as well as I remember from when we had our Danes! If you need effective protection without breaking the bank, give these Seresto collars a try!

Not sure pets are very fatigued

My Dog and cat don’t seem the same since 2 days after I put the collars on. They don’t react this way a day after I give them the topical treatments. I’m torn

Caused hair loss and open wound.

Had to have my indoor cat seen by a vet after using due to the seresto collar causing an open wound around his neck. Will never be using again.

Good product

This was recommended by my Vet's. Going into an area soon where there are a lot of flea's and ticks. We wanted to prevent any problems.

Not effective for us

Seemed to have little/no impact on our flea problem. We resorted to vet. treatments and house spray. They worked in the past, so it must be a bad year.
