If only they weren't so pricey!
These dog treats are among the healthiest we have found for our spoos. BUT, they're way too expensive for an everyday treat. The ingredients are excellent, the size is acceptable for a medium/large dog.but we can only give them once/week.
Great Teeth Chews
I have been buying greenies for my dog to keep his teeth and gums fresh and healthy. I tried and my dog loves them and I think they are healthier so will keep buying
Bummer, My Dog Loved Them
Sadly I bought these thinking they were okay for my dog but I did not read beyond carrot. My dog is allergic to all meet protein so I avoid anything with meat or fish including oils. I noticed her gums were a bit enflamed after she ate these. Such a bummer because I am always looking for new and interesting tooth brush chews for her and she LOVED these ones.
Nutritious
My dog loves these dental treats and they are packed with nutrients.
Not the best for seniors
I thought these might be a little more pliable, so I could break them up for my wise pups, but they're pretty hard. My 16-yr-old beagle did ok with them (he has a strong bite, despite missing a few teeth now) after I sawed one in half, but my 17-yr-old bichon frise struggled with chewing it. I gave her about an inch-long piece (had to use a butcher knife to cut it!) & she managed to chew it, but I probably won't try it again. She has also had some teeth removed. I'm sure these would be great for tough chewers! My beagle will still get a half occasionally, but I won't reorder, based on my pups' ablities.
Untouchable
Ever time I gave my dog this treat it would take it, but would not eat any of it at all.
Poor company
Since I have used these treats I realized my dog teeth have been getting yellow and might have a cavity that need to be pulled. I have to go back to his old treats. I love the smell of these but not great for cleaning
Carrot treats
Only one of my dogs would eat them. And the one who wouldn’t eat them loves raw carrots and salmon
Best dental treats!
I noticed these at my local pet store once my dog became uninterested in her Whimzees dental treats all of a sudden. But I did need some type of supplement for her skin and coat. Which is great because these contain the perfect ingredients for her and her allergies and great for her teeth. She absolutely loves them and can be seen waiting patiently for one, along with our relatives Shih Tzu.
Wonderful chew!
I adore this company. So aware of food waste. This chew is very popular among all of our dogs. I break it in half for the smaller dogs and give the Tatra Dog, Ben, a whole stick. It provides a few minutes of chewing pleasure. They also love the Bananas for Bacon treats.
