Why is the first ingredient in your all fish entrees, CHICKEN.

Instead of compromising on quality or using cheaper ingredients, Sheba formulas are made with multiple protein sources. This way animal meat is the very first ingredient. But, while chicken provides the appropriate level of protein cats need, the fish used in this recipe provides the taste they love.

Changed recipe?

I just opened a case of Sheba Sustainable Salmon Pate, and all three of my cats refuse to eat it. They've been eating this food for years, and they are still eating

I just opened a case of Sheba Sustainable Salmon Pate, and all three of my cats refuse to eat it. They've been eating this food for years, and they are still eating their dry food, lickables, and treats as usual. I'm wondering if Sheba has changed its formula. You'd think they'd know cats are very good at detecting the slightest change in food they've grown accustomed to eating. Unfortunately, I'll be looking for a different wet food for my crew.

We've been feeding Sheba pate for several years. One 2-pack a day per cat (2). They rotate chicken, turkey, & salmon. Each single tub is perfect for 1 feeding, not too much, not too little. I also compared Sheba to the other lower cost brands (not the Blue Buff, Royal C, Tiki, or even Iams) and I believe Sheba has a better portion of actual meat, less byproducts, and good moisture. I haven't had a cat that didn't like Sheba. Hardly ever any wasted. In fact, if there is, I know something isn't right with my cat. Another thing I love about Sheba is that it doesn't dry up fast if there is leftovers. I have 1 cat who is a grazer, and she always manages to finish a meal well before her next feeding time. Sheba's price isn't bad either, if you order cases. I highly recommend Sheba wet cat food. Pate anyway. Our cats won't eat any other style. My only tiny complaint is that they can be difficult to open for older folks with arthritis, and I hate the plastic used in the tubs and divider trays in the cases. But I also know that metal containers would up the price, and they probably couldn't be the nice perfect portion size.

Poor faulty packaging & product leaked upon opening

It was likely the fault of the company that manufactures Sheba, not Chewy’s fault, I don’t think. I’ve bought Sheba off and on for years and they always snap apart

My cats have always like this item. I am giving it 3 stars due to recent shipments of the product being damaged. Some of the "tins" from the last 3 or 4 cases

My cats have always like this item. I am giving it 3 stars due to recent shipments of the product being damaged. Some of the "tins" from the last 3 or 4 cases I have received have been damaged. I believe it is being caused by factory errors not shipping. A couple have been cracked on the bottoms, others have slits in the foil covers. I've had to throw out 2, 3 and 4 from the shipments. The juice covers them all and have to wash afterwards which is a pain
