My Bassett hound has a hernia that she was born with. It has begun to hang down as she has gotten older (15yrs). This "onesie" gives it gentle pressure and keeps it from hanging down and rubbing on the porch steps when she goes out. She seems to like it. It was easy to put on and she hasn't pulled at it at all. I don't have to unzip it for potty breaks either which is a plus.

My female dog had major anxiety wearing the cone the vet told me to keep on her after her spay. I had purchased this suit prior and switched and had her wear it to protect the surgical sight, and it was a blessing. She healed quickly, it was easy to unzip for bathroom use, and it fit her perfectly. I highly recommend if you can keep an eye on your dog for the week after. My girl didn't chew on the breathable suit at all, but was told that some may.

Is lightweight, completely covers his belly from his neck to his tail and is stretchy. It does reduce shedding and is a great alternative to a cone.

Works extremely well

I like hte way it zips up vs. the velcro that similar products have. It just stays in place and has no too tight spots. On and off is easy and access to taking

If covered her full body. The zipper was in the bottom from the front to the back. If she needed to go potty she could without removing it. It helped her recover

Fit for a giant dog

We got this as an alternative to a post surgical cone. Absolutely perfect! She was used to wearing a dog diaper when she was in heat, so this seemed less clumsy

We got this as an alternative to a post surgical cone. Absolutely perfect! She was used to wearing a dog diaper when she was in heat, so this seemed less clumsy that a cone. Giants are hard to buy for. This fit perfectly on our 140 lb. Fila Brasiliaro. She has not licked the incision at all, and doesn't struggle against the suit. 40 years of dog ownership and this I the first time I have not struggled with post surgical licking.

It's probably better for females, but I don't recommend it for a young male. Bought so we wouldn't have to deal with the cone for neutering, and while it does help

Bought so we wouldn't have to deal with the cone for neutering, and while it does help keep him from getting to the area, it does get soiled at times when he goes potty. I would just say get two so you can wash the one, but it's up to you if you want to spend that much
