Can this be used after a neuter? Does the zipper go over where the incision would be? Scrotal area? Or stop prior? Looking for a great dane 120#

This body suite does not zip all the way back to the base of the dogs tail. We recommend the original. Sizing is based on your pet's weight. For the complete sizing chart, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos. Click the "Size" tab, next to the "Highlights" tab, towards the top bar above the product image when viewed on the app.

Will this work in the pool or will it affect my dogs ability to swim?

The onesie may be used within a pool. Some use it so pet hair does not clog the filter. It is very stretchy and shouldn’t inhibit their movement in the pool but it does get wet eventually (waterlogged) even though it is very lightweight fabric. Please supervise your dog when in it in the water to gauge whether they are hindered at all.

Came quickly. Not difficult to get on. Downside is that you can't adjust the part that stops at the tail. She has a tail that is curled up all the time and it bushes up on her tell. It is very stretchy, so I worry about it cutting into or affecting circulation in that area. There should be a few snaps or buttons there to adjust it if needed.

When I adopted my little girl, she was missing a bunch of fur so I thought this would be good to help her stay warm. As other reviewers have noted, the legs are very long, and even when I roll them, they come unrolled and the poor thing just ends up kicking her legs all funny when she walks and never gets anywhere. Great idea, I'm sure it'd keep her warm if she wasn't stepping on it and focusing on the weird feeling of the folded sleeves on her legs. She normally wears clothes and LOVES to be warm and snuggly, but these aren't her jam. My girl is a 19 lb minpin mix with shortie legs.

The concept of the shed defender is great - it definitely covered the hot spot on our Golden Retriever's hip better than anything else we tried. Unfortunately, the quality of the materials or workmanship is lacking. We received it on a Tuesday-two days later there was a hole on the top of the back right by the logo and two days after that the zipper split open and is unusable. We bought the xl, which is just right for our dog's size and weight and where Goldens are concerned she is pretty mild. Again, love the concept, just wish it had held up better, especially for the money.

Fit was good

I think Gunner felt pretty comfortable as he went about his day as normal I do not like the way the back legs fit at the hip joints. It pulls in a weird way. I

I think Gunner felt pretty comfortable as he went about his day as normal I do not like the way the back legs fit at the hip joints. It pulls in a weird way. I am nor sure of what could be done universally as all dogs are shaped differently, just like us human but it did not impede his movements. The legs are definitely very long but that is a quick fix. I think I will use it more for bed time wear as my sweet boy sleeps in the bed. It certainly is a great option for containing the hair and about 85% of the shedding was alleviated. I wanted the black color but it has been out if stock for months now and I was tired of waiting.

BEWARE OF SIZING THIS RUNS SUPER SMALL.

Do not believe the sizing on this. My dog is 9.2 pounds. Bought the XX Small which says its 8-12 Pounds. I CAN NOT EVEN GET IT OVER HIS HEAD. That is ridiculous

It seems to be made for taller more slender dogs in that weight range so we are going to exchange for a medium. (Concerned a small will still be too tight).
