Instructions
Carrier: Spot clean pet backpack carrier with warm water and mild detergent.
Liner: Remove liner from bag, unzip cover, remove and set aside the stability board, machine wash liner cold with mild soap. Air dry.

Little unsteady but works
Ok for vet visits, but it does collapse on itself a bit, which my cats dont appreciate. Also tips over easily. Do not set on a table or chair!

Smaller than you think
The measurements are correct but unfortunately this is a snug fit for my cat and he doesn't like sitting upright.

Uncomfortable for human and dog
Took this backpacking in Yosemite with an 8lb mini dachshund. The mesh “window” is too high for her to see out if she lays down so she has to sit up and if we open
Took this backpacking in Yosemite with an 8lb mini dachshund. The mesh “window” is too high for her to see out if she lays down so she has to sit up and if we open it, she sticks her head out and her neck gets compressed. Would recommend a design that has a lower window. It is also very boxy with a lot of height but not a lot of floor space. She loves her Sherpa airline carrier which is more of a rectangular bag. Ideally Sherpa would add backpack straps to one of those. The shoulder straps were very uncomfortable for my husband and the edges at the bottom of the bag needs better padding as it digs into the wearer’s back. Need a new option. This one will be donated.

The bottom of the pack digs into your back. Not very sturdy build, the pack basically caved in with my 13lb cat in it. If you could tighten the straps from the top

Lovely, but poor stitching
I really like the carrier! It's spacious and my cat really likes it. I have had issues with the stitching, my cat was stressed out and pushed a hole into the top

The space inside for the dogs
I have 2 doggie backpacks, but they collapse inward at the top when my pups are inside. I purchased the Sherpa backpack and it is wonderful!!! The backpack's structure
I have 2 doggie backpacks, but they collapse inward at the top when my pups are inside. I purchased the Sherpa backpack and it is wonderful!!! The backpack's structure is well-designed, with much more space than other designs (and I did my research). On each corner, thin poles give the pack more support. Plenty of pockets to carry what we need and the pack sits comfortably while carrying my fur babies. My fur babies love going on outings, and when we go into the stores nobody says anything to us because the pups are contained. I highly recommend it. I rarely do reviews, but this pack must be shared with other dog owners looking for a backpack. And honestly, can't beat the price!
Great bag
After looking at the many carriers on here for a new carrier for our girl cat. She prefers the soft carriers as a book bag. She does not like being carried down
After looking at the many carriers on here for a new carrier for our girl cat. She prefers the soft carriers as a book bag. She does not like being carried down on the side. The size of the bag is enough for a box on it's own or bundled with soft items in an order. If you want to save on the shipping and buy food etc. At the price it is worth it, as long as you have a medium cat less than the 14 inch max length. If they are 14 inches a different bag is better. I say this from looking at my cat, she fits perfectly from end to end laying down with no space. She is 13in. and a bit more long laying down. If she was any bigger it would not be comfy. The max weight is very accurate our girl cat is around 9 pounds. The boy cat is 10 pounds and heavier some days. The bag does hold with our big boy inside. Note: This carrier is not for cats that can escape these bags. From experience our boy cat can open open the zipper on this bag. The bag does not sag, and does not cave into my cat when closed.
