does this work on cat urine odor (in carpet)?

This remover eliminates extreme stains and odors at their source on fabrics, floors, upholstery and carpets. Additionally, the remover works on urine, feces, vomit, blood, grass and foods.
My couch has a cleanability rating of "SW" with instruction to spot clean with upholstery shampoo, foam from mild detergent or mild dry cleaning solvent. Can I use this product; is it "SW" rated? Thank you!

Safely and quickly removes urine, feces, and vomit on carpet, upholstery, bedding, fabric toys, clothing, or other water-safe surfaces in your home. 24 hours prior to using, test on an inconspicuous area. Remove excess solid or liquid waste. Shake well and test for colorfastness on a hidden area. Do not use on wool or leather surfaces.

Doesn't work

Did not eliminate the smell of urine whatsoever on my carpet it just made the carpet hard and crunchy in the areas I sprayed it. I followed the directions and tried multiple times, but it did nothing for the few accidents my potty training puppy had in the house. Now I have crunchy carpet that still smells strongly of urine

Cats peeing in the house

I have 3 cats and have been battling cat pee and spray. I have tried all of the sprays and cleaners. This has a nice small and knocks out the cat smell.

FO NOT BUY

I used this shampoo on my dog and it caused her hair to fall out! I even took her to the vet to make sure it was that and sure enough my vet confirmed it.. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

Not buying again

The bottle leaks every time you try to spray it and it leaves our floors slick for weeks after using it and wiping it up.

Fantastic Product!!!

I recently moved and my cat was urinating outside of her box from stress. I’ve tried several other urine stain products but had no success. The Simple Solution Extreme pet urine spray is the only thing that worked!! I followed the directions on the back of the bottle closely and my cat has not returned to the spots to soil since I’ve used it. It’s going on 3 weeks now. Do not, I repeat, do not hesitate to buy this product… you will not be disappointed! If I could give it 10 stars I would have!!

Best Solution Ever!

We have tried several different products but this one is the best by far! It will not change carpet or upholstery color. We buy it now by the gallon jug because it works so well even if the cat throws up a hairball or food or makes some tracks of stool on the carpet. Just pour or stray it on and wipe it right off and that's it! No rinsing needed. We have used it when our old cat peed on the carpet and it takes the smell right away. It also works well in the laundry if you have blood on your clothes.
