Size Right Snag-Proof Adjustable Cat Harness

This harness seems to be made well, but, unless the cat has a 1" neck, there is no way it can fit a cat with an 18" girth as the product tag implies.

Best Harness for Us

I suppose the easiest harness would be the vest type with velcro but I don't think my cat would like that. I wanted one that felt the most like nothing. This one lets him feel the breeze and the sidewalk that he likes to roll around on. It just barely fits him - he's 17 lbs. - but this simple design works for me and Moose.

Bad choice for an escape artist

I bought 2 of these after one of my 3 cats was killed by a coyote. I had hoped to be able to give them a little outside time during the day. Alas, I put it on one of my babies and she got out of it before I could put the other one on. I thought maybe it needed to be snugger and I adjusted it. She escaped in less than 5 minutes. Needless to say, I can't recommend this product. I have no idea what to do with these now.

Phoenix hates it

Phoenix fought me putting this on him from the second time I tried, I resorted to his original harness which I think is too snug, (the reason for the new one) but it is the only one he’ll allow me to put on him. He knows how to get out of the old harness and I expect the same technique would work for this one too. I don’t want the scratches and biting to ruin what is an enjoyable time for both of us.

great investment

My cat struggled with other harnesses, but this one is both light and secure. She'll jump up against the door and sit still for me to slide it over her head. It also adjusts very easily with the figure-8 and clasp design. Simple, and gets the job done so she can hang out in the backyard with less worry.
