I read descritpion of item, the consumer reviews. This was supposed to be safe if licked and safe for use on dogs. I put it on my poor doggie's irritated skin

I put it on my poor doggie's irritated skin from flea bites and she broke out in hives...raised circles under her fur. I washed it off the best I could with a wet wash cloth and haven't been brave enough to try it again on her. This was not a solution for us for her irritated skin.
