Remi likes his water to taste like water.

Yes for my dogs, no from my cats

It's a yes for my dogs and a big no for my cats. I have been very happy with my dogs' breath smelling better and have noticed when I pair this and some dental chews

It's a yes for my dogs and a big no for my cats. I have been very happy with my dogs' breath smelling better and have noticed when I pair this and some dental chews it has really helped with our Springer's tartar on his teeth. I don't believe it altered their drinking habits at all. My cats on the other hand refuse to drink it. I had to put a separate water bowl out for them. Which doesn't bother me at all but I would caution anyone trying this with cats to watch carefully and make sure you stop using it or give your cats an alternate water source if they won't drink it. Very common for cats to be picky about their water. Overall this works great if your dog/cat will drink it! I've been using it for a month and I'm not even halfway through it. I don't put it in every bowl because I forget sometimes but it ends up in at least 75% of their refills.

I tried using the Honor Oral Care Water additive product and my dogs didn't really care for it. One of my dogs, I have two female shepherds, is a big water drinker

I tried using the Honor Oral Care Water additive product and my dogs didn't really care for it. One of my dogs, I have two female shepherds, is a big water drinker. She would drink a bit but nowhere near the amount of water she normally intakes. If I gave her a fresh bowl, minus the additive, she would continue to drink her normal amount. Her sister did drink it, but not as big of a drinker so hard to tell if she liked it or not. They both have very nice teeth so I am unable to see much of a difference as far as plaque or build up. We live in the country and have really cold, fresh, good water so they get a bit picky when it comes to any other water source in particular.

I tried this water additive with my two dogs who have terrible breath and do not like their teeth brushed and neither of them seemed to enjoy it. The flavor I got

I tried this water additive with my two dogs who have terrible breath and do not like their teeth brushed and neither of them seemed to enjoy it. The flavor I got was peanut butter and bacon and it has a very strong scent. Neither of my dogs would drink their water when I added this to it with the recommended dosage but they did drink it with just a squirt. I think the scent is overpowering and maybe deter the dogs from trying it. My dogs did not drink enough of it to tell if it helped with their oral hygiene.

Thought the bottle opened it up. It smelled great. It smelled exactly like bacon and peanut butter. I use the exact amount in the water bowl three out of the four dogs would not touch it. They would not drink it. One dog drank it twice, but then stopped drinking. I had to take the bowls up, scrub them and clean them, so there was no residue and finally the dogs would drink again. Good concept great smell but if the dogs won’t drink the water, it’s not gonna do them any good.

I was excited to get this product and try it out but my 2 Australian Shepherds were not excited about it at all. My pickiest Aussie sniffed the water and drank about 2 slurps before her protest began and my Aussie that eats anything and is never picky refused to try his water at all. Just to be sure, I tried giving them the additive in their water a few days later and this time no one would even attempt to drink their water. I love the idea and had hopes of helping to reduce tartar but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be.
