The chicken nesting boxes will probably be a little bigger than what a quail might need but should still work fine for them. We do recommend using the nesting pads with them, which will give the bird a soft place to sit and lay. As for cleaning, with the nesting pads in them, they stay pretty clean. However, should you need to clean them out we recommend using water or vinegar to clean them. Make sure they are dry before putting new bedding material in them.
