These pads are absolutely amazing! They fit perfectly in the nesting boxes of my coop and provide a comfy layer of nearly packed fibres for my hens to sit on. They had not used the nesting boxes in a while, and eggs were usually laid in the sandy parts of their coop/run. With the new pads, all boxes are in use again, and my hens lay there eggs in the nesting boxes again! Admittedly, they shredded the pad in their favorite box to make more of a nest of it but still use it and the others regularly. We all just love them. And cleaning is fairly easy, too.

The ducks are really enjoying these too although and surprisingly the geese and ducks are unable to destroy these. Usually my geese can rip nesting pads to shreds but these are thick! They are as thick or thicker than some of the really expensive pads. I would probably buy these again, especially as it is so cold out right now and I can feel how cozy these pads are under the chickens.

I used these pads for my hens but they aren’t using them because they prefer the nesting boxes that are lined with hay. The pads are well made with a nice thickness

My hens are used to always having hay for bedding so I think they are cautious about nesting in something different. That’s the only reason I rated the pads with a 4.

Keeps the nest boxes and eggs clean.
I have been using the hemp liners for awhile in 4 of my hens boxes. The birds seem to like it and there is no mess sticking to the eggs. They fit well in my boxes

They fit well in my boxes so no need to cut, they are a great size. The hens do pull in some hay to put on top but they seem to like them and the liners are easy to remove and change.
