Human grade food?

All of the whole food ingredients used are of the highest quality and are all human edible from humanely raised meat, bone and organ to the 100% organic produce. But, due to labeling restrictions, Smallbatch Pets cannot label the final product as human grade due to the bone content and the fact that their products are intended to be consumed by pets, not people.

How many sliders are in a bag?

How many ounces are each slider?

Because the freeze-dried sliders are dry, they do not have an exact weight available. It can vary depending on the protein density, how much moisture is removed, etc. They estimate that each 1 ounce slider weighs approximately 7-9 grams, dry.

Great food-but it didn’t work for my doodle

I really like everything about the ingredients in this food, especially that there are no synthetic vitamins. It does take a few minutes to crumble the sliders and rehydrate them (about 15 minutes) so if your pup is impatient when waiting for their meal this might not be a good choice. Even though there shouldn’t have been anything in this recipe that would set off my dog’s allergies I noticed that she started biting and chewing her paws very quickly sfter we switched her to this food. I changed her back to the food she was eating prior to the switch (Little Hunter-which she goes nuts for and they have an excellent customer service team!) and the paw chewing stopped immediately. Not sure why this food set off her allergies but it did. I do still consider it to be a great choice because there are no synthetic vitamins in it and it has very nutritious proteins & vegetables in it & that is something that’s very important to me as a mama to a dog that is a cancer survivor. I still would recommend it if someone asked me for a recommendation for a freeze dried raw food!

Super healthy with easy availability

I had two client Dogs staying with me who came with a bag of Sundays for Dogs. The owner did not pack enough food for the length of the stay and trying to get that

I had two client Dogs staying with me who came with a bag of Sundays for Dogs. The owner did not pack enough food for the length of the stay and trying to get that particular food to my address was complicated with a lengthy wait time. Small Batch pets before with great success. So I informed them that I would buy a bag of food. Because I felt it was a better product and I could get it away. Thank you, chewy. The dogs did so well on this product. The owners are continuing to feed it.

My dogs favorite

A little soft so they fell apart in bag but that’s ok because we have been using for a while now and I can weigh out what one slider would be crushed up. The beef

A little soft so they fell apart in bag but that’s ok because we have been using for a while now and I can weigh out what one slider would be crushed up. The beef recipe is much more dense and harder to rehydrate. We like the chicken and turkey for that reason.

The food was all shredded and not in individual serving sizes. The package had clearly been crushed at some point though it was boxed with padding.
