Christmas gift for my daughter's labrador. She loved the treats but it was difficult to get them out as the dividers in between each treat had slid from original spot. Therefore when you would open the Advent door you would find the divider and would have to dig around for the treat. Also there were 3 different kinds of treats but they were lined up with the same kind for multiple days in a row instead of randomly so the pup would get used to the same one and then be leary to eat a different kind. But it was cute and Pepper enjoyed the treats.

Unfortunately both our dogs did NOT do well with these advent calendars. Both vomited up pieces of the smartbone treats each day we tried and after a few days we gave them up as a bad idea and tossed the rest of the calendar. They have never had issues with the bigger smartbones but these little ones seem harder and of significantly lower quality. Our dogs would eat them, but then would vomit each night within an hour or two, and they would be full of pieces of the treat.
3.5 stars

My mom bought this for Remy and he loves it! I did not. The package says it’s for small dogs but the treats were fine for my 75lb pitski. I hated the packaging. The windows/tabs were a little hard to open, and I hated that each one was individually wrapped. Remy knows he gets a new treat everyday and grabbing it out of the window by himself is part of the fun. So having to stop and tear open each package is kind of a bummer for the both of us lol. Otherwise it was just fine.
Only three shapes of same treats
The treats break up into sharp shards. My dachshunds eat them right away, but they're dachshunds, so they'll eat anything. I worry that they could cut their mouth
The treats break up into sharp shards. My dachshunds eat them right away, but they're dachshunds, so they'll eat anything. I worry that they could cut their mouth on the pieces. The box looks nice, but is very hard to open each day. I need to use a knife, and it still tears. I won't be buying this advent calender next year.

The calendar is adorable with the treat (at least day one) individually wrapped with a freshness packet included. I took 1 star awar only because it's marketed for small dogs, but the treat was big enough my 80lb labradane had to carry it around for several minutes to soften it. I would not give these treats to a dog under 30lbs. My 35lb Beagle ate it ok too, but it took a couple of minutes (surprisingly).
Not safe for pets
The "bone" is this hard plastic material that breaks into sharp pieces. I tried soften it with water to see if it's at least getting soft when my dog is chewing
The "bone" is this hard plastic material that breaks into sharp pieces. I tried soften it with water to see if it's at least getting soft when my dog is chewing on it but it stayed fairly hard and my dog could potentially hurt his mouth and insides from these sharp pieces. I don't think that is safe for pets.
Apparently yummy!
Nemo and Penny are going to be so disappointed after the treats are gone! I expected it to be a tiny little bite-size treat, but it actuallytakes them a few minutes
Nemo and Penny are going to be so disappointed after the treats are gone! I expected it to be a tiny little bite-size treat, but it actuallytakes them a few minutes to eat these. I will definitely make this a yearly tradition!
Redundant

I bought 2 one for each of my pups. It said it would have chicken wrapped rawhide sub, Candy canes, and mini bones. We have had 5 of the chicken wrapped items, 1 candy cane shaped treat and one mini bone 8 days in. So far not really enthusiastic about the rest of the month.
Pet doesn’t like the texture
These treats are more like plastic and I would not buy these again. We opened three of them and discarded the rest. This is not chewy’s fault. It’s the manufacturer’s

The joy on my pets face
Not a fan that they were hard and I had to watch her because I was afraid of her chocking. I would have preferred a cookie type of texture but nevertheless she is
