I thought these would be good for our 65 pound dog, something she could chew on and be safe to eat pieces of. But she ate the first one completely within a minute or two. That worried me so I didn’t give her the other two.
12 hours after having this, BOTH of my big dogs (85lbs & 70lbs) had diarrhea. I've given them the smaller SmartBones sticks several times without issue, so not sure if it is the sweet potato or just too big a portion.
My dogs love these healthy tasty treats. They sit outside the pantry door at the same time every night as if they are right on schedule to get these nightly treats
My dog has a super sensitive tummy so we stick with the same treats. We normally get this brand in peanut butter flavor and she loves it and it sits well in her tummy. Got the sweet potato to give her some variety (and because they were on sale) and whoa! My poor girl’s farts smelled straight up like garbage and she had terrible diarrhea. Guess we will stick to peanut butter flavored!
I can only give to 1 dog due to chicken. She is a moderate/gentle chewer and a princess: she does not eat rocks or anything bigger than a larger kibble, so she chews this down to size. No vomiting up chunks that were too big to be swallowed, no diarrhea because though she has IBS, she has no other allergies or intolerances. She only gets 1 every 3 to 4 days minimum, if not 1 a week. I will continue to buy these for her. I wish they had chicken free so I could give to my other dog!
So I've gotten similar treats for my dogs before, but these were kinda tricky. The outer layer gets really gooey after the first few minutes and literally when my dog started to try to chew it afterwards, it stuck to her teeth so bad it locked her up to where she couldn't open or shut her mouth. I had to literally have help holding her down to pry it out of her mouth. Scary moment for sure. I won't give these to my dogs now. I'm sure they are better than others but they are definitely not for my medium sized border collie.
my girls love these but I wish there were 4 in each package instead of three because I have two dogs. I always have to buy 2 bags so they each get a treat. but they love the taste of these
Both my dogs love them and I have one Aussie who is highkey allergic to a lot which makes me nervous giving him rawhide. He likes these and I feel better knowing they are an alternative but not something that would be eaten in one minute.
This store truly is like having a pet heaven. It has everything a pet needs and if like me I want my Frenchi to have the best of everything and I get it here.
What the heck is the reason for doubling in price?
