What country are these smartbones manufactured in (it only lists distributed by)

These treats are manufactured in Vietnam. All of their raw materials are thoroughly inspected and analyzed in a sterile environment prior to processing. Once the tested raw materials enter the manufacturing process, they adhere to strict FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) hygiene regulations and manufacturing processes. Before the dog chews leave the manufacturing plant, they are once again tested by their quality control team.

Can an 8 week old 3 lb puppy eat these?

SmartBones chews are safe for puppies older than 8 weeks old. Please remember to supervise your pet during chewing activity and make sure he or she has access to plenty of clean water.

Tolerated for Pancreatitis

My dog loves these for her treat in the afternoon. But because she is limited by what she can eat, they are expensive on a daily basis. I'm glad they offer this

Great long lasting snack

I give my Boston Terrier one of these every day since it occupies him for at least 10 minutes (sigh) and the chewing is good for his teeth. Love the small size

I give my Boston Terrier one of these every day since it occupies him for at least 10 minutes (sigh) and the chewing is good for his teeth. Love the small size for smaller mouths (though he'll eat a big one!). Great beneficial chew snack that does take a while to get through. A big plus with a velcro dog. :)

Caution! My Dog Got Very Ill

My Chihuahua mix became very ill immediately after eating one of these treats. She ate the treat quite quickly, and promptly threw up. I thought the treats would

My Chihuahua mix became very ill immediately after eating one of these treats. She ate the treat quite quickly, and promptly threw up. I thought the treats would be harder, like a bully stick, which takes her quite a long time to chew down. She was able to chew this very fast. She also threw up her breakfast the next morning. She is small so she was under supervision the whole time and did not consume anything else that might have upset her. Like I said, she threw it up immediately. Please use caution when feeding these to your dog.

A Long-Standing Favorite - 10 years and counting

My older (now) dog has enjoyed these most of his life. The best features for him are the moderately chewy but completely consumable texture, along with the taste

They come in elephant, lion, and hippo shapes/colors, but I think they all taste the same. They also come in small and large, but the small (14/pkg) are quite sufficient for my 80-lb dog.
