Kitty’s favorite, and my favorite, too! This laser is easy for me to hold in my hand, and the button doesn’t hurt my thumb to hold it down. The switch didn’t wear out—ever! Or get a short or lose contact and flash or disconnect like so many other did, making it frustrating for kitty. The batteries are replaceable; just need a very small Phillips screwdriver. This laser has no pieces to come unscrewed and fall off when handling or get lost which was another problem I had with cheap lasers. I have dropped it many times on a tile floor and it is unscathed. It is delightfully cute, too. Kitty and I say it’s PURRFECT ! Thank you.
The laser is bright and provides a solid dot. The button works without any concern about it sticking. The size of the entire thing is pretty good for a small/ medium hand. The click is a little loud, but perhaps that will enhance the cat's engagement over time as they learn it means the dot is around.
Worked well for about 6 months. The laser started changing intensity randomly. Sometimes I’ll click the button and it’ll be fine, other times it won’t come on at all, or it’ll be so faint the cats can’t see it. Even if it’s just a bad battery, it would cost the same to just buy a new laser, so it doesn’t seem worth the money for the time I got out of it. Think I’m going to try a rechargeable one this time.
This never gets old. I don't use it very often, so that helps it not get old I'm sure... but Miss Kitty automatically starts frantically looking and searching for the red dot as soon as she hears the click. She is conditioned lol. So if she is into something or doing something I want her to stop, every now and then I'll just get this out and it works like a charm. Also, she LOVES chasing it. Just be careful not to use too much because it can frustrate some cats after a while since they can never actually catch it.
The description was extremely misleading. Nowhere in it does it state that it is only a laser pointer. If I had known that, I wouldn't have purchased it as I already have one Tux doesn't play with.
My mom and dad call this ‘red devil buggy’. I love chasing it but can’t seem to catch it! I’m a very fast runner so I figure it’s just a matter of time before I mail it!
My cat loves to play with this. She never really played much until our dog passed away. Now she comes out and plays at least twice a day.
It makes me wish I had gotten them a lazer sooner. Rajah in particular is in love with this thing. It's decently sturdy and the light stretches quite far. Would definitely recommend.
Works great! Dark red dot cats love to chase. Getting lots of exercise.
My cat loves to chase and "hunt" the laser light, waiting for it to move or to re-emerge. Any laser light would work, but this one is inexpensive and works well.
