So i've been trying to buy fun interactive toys for our new feral mom cat we've taken in. Every toy is a scary experience so we've been taking it slow with her introducing and trying out what she likes. We learned she loved a particular wand so I wanted to up the anti with a version that moves on it's own. While it made her nervous at first because it made a bit of noise, and almost hit her in the face a few times, once she saw the feather flying her interest peaked very quickly! She literally played with this for about an hour until she was finally pooped and laid upside down on the ground under the toy swatting at the feather when it'd fly over her. She loves this toy and I'm so glad it's a hit with her. I wish this had the option for a longer wand. I taped her favorite wire wand for a longer reach to see if it would work and she was crazy running in circles trying to catch it. Excellent toy!
I have had this toy for almost 7 years. My cat loves it, and he's rough with it, too. He holds the feather down, and it keeps clicking til he finally lets go. I read someone say about the noise; it's motor run ginna make some noise, but it is not loud. It's a nouse that makes sense because it is a motorized toy. I work a lot of hours and sometimes not up to playing so much; so i love that this will keep my cat entertained consistently, or for the timed 2-hour set. I need a new one only because he was playing hard after eating and vomited right on top of wand insertion, and i dropped tryin to thoroughly clean it out of inner workings! 😅
