I gave this to two of my cats and they showed no interest. It's a good toy, but it's a bit louder than I had hoped. I kept in on for about 15 minutes, hoping my cats would come around, but I got tired of listening to it. Would I recommend it? Sure, for some cats. I think it would be a good toy for cats that don't seem to mind the electronic motor sound interactive toys make.
I have ahem…6 cats..5 former ferals and one stray. My great room looks like a cat shelter with toys. This is the best overall cat toy I’ve ever bought. My oldest cat that doesn’t ever play, not since I’ve had her last 5 years but she loves this toy. I was amazed. This toy also involved my cats that generally like to play alone. They would play with another cat with this toy. Worth the money!
Millie, my cat, loves this. We had a spinning feather before but this one has a faster speed and runs 15mins and gets her exercising. We put it by her tunnel with hole in center & she runs thru tunnel & jumps out at feather or lays in tunnel & tries to grab feather. Definitely a winner!
Three out of my four cats love this toy! Kitties ranging from ages 5 months to 4 years. I just had to order replacement wands because they have torn all the feathers off lol! Yes it does make noise. I just put it on and go about my business. Not really a big deal. If your cat loves wands, then this is a safe bet to buy!
I purchased this toy because I thought it would be a good way for my 10 year old house cat to get some exercise and mental stimulation. I open the box put everything together, installed the batteries, pressed the power button and NOTHING!! I made sure the batteries were correct still nothing. Do not buy!!
Our girl Jinx absolutely loves this toy she chases the feather and hides behind stuff and dashes out to ambush it and when she's getting tired she lays down in reach of it and bats at it until the timmer runs out. It was definitely worth the money and it seems well built.
My 2 jaded cats love it! They even ignored me when I called them for treats. At one point I noticed the wand was missing. I found and rescued their hostage and attached it more carefully to the base. I think it keeps them interested because they can "catch" it for a moment, then it keeps moving.
I just received the toy for my cat, but when I put in the battery it doesn't move like I expected. So I bought a new battery and it still doesn't work/move :(
please see my review below; my cat seems fearful of this toy, and will have nothing to do with it; it is also a bit expensive, perhaps a mistake; yet other cats may like it
It is very loud and rotates too quickly. My cat stares at it but that's all. I cannot stand the noise it makes. I don't see an opinion to return it or I would.
