What is the active ingredient that dissipates odor? Also Since our yard is small, will using this product deter dogs from pottying on treated areas?

how far does the 2lb bottle go? we have 1 acre and I'd like to get enough to do everything please and thanks.

It is recommend to get a 25 pound bag for a 1 acre yard which is the equivalent of approximately 12 bottles. To use, remove any solid waste in your yard and dispose of it. Scatter the granules generously in your yard where odors occur. Apply heavier amounts to areas your pets frequently use. The granules are easy to see, so you should have no problem in knowing how densely they are being applied. For larger areas, you can use a fertilizer spreader set on the lowest application rate setting. This first treatment should produce noticeable results within a day or so, depending on your initial level of yard smell. You may need to treat your yard every 2-3 days, until the outdoor odors are eliminated. This might only be necessary if you are treating excessive odors caused by saturated areas of your yard, where pet waste has accumulated over time and left untreated.

So not waste your money

I hate to leave a bad review, but this product is expensive and doesn’t work AT ALL. Applied following the directions reapplied as instruction state, zero results

Didn’t notice a difference

I wanted this to work maybe I just need a lot more. I used the entire bottle on a 20x30 AstroTurf area and didn’t reduce urine smell.

Miracle product

My elderly dog uses the. mulch around my patio and the urine smell is very "unpleasant" even with hosing down the mulch regularly. After spreading Smelleze generously

My elderly dog uses the. mulch around my patio and the urine smell is very "unpleasant" even with hosing down the mulch regularly. After spreading Smelleze generously the first time, the smell was almost gone overnight, and with one more light application it was gone. I have spread a small amount every 3 days since. This has worked impressively well. I also put it in my garbage bin and it has done its job there too. Highly recommend.

I never leave reviews but after using lawn sprays for years for dog urine smell (we have 4 dogs) without much success I am so happy that the Smelleze granules are working! First day I sprinkled it smelled way better. Next day there was a little remaining odor so I applied all over the artificial turf for a second time. It is a week later now and urine smell has remained gone, even after a full rainy day. Its so much easier and way more effective than than sprays that you use with your hose. Very pleased!

Love Love Love

Absolutely loved this product! Same day results! We have FIVE doggies and sprays for the turf just wasn’t cutting it. On hot days the smell outside was unbearable

Product actually works!

I have bird feeders always stocked with hulled sunflower seeds. Some drop the the ground and, when they rot, the smell is vomit inducing. I now sprinkle this product

Didn't work

I applied a few times to my lawn, and it still smelled terrible. My German shepherd uses one area in the yard to pee and I spray it regularly with the water hose..
