Smith & Burton's No. 2 Puppy Shampoo and Conditioner has a masculine cologne smell. I intended it for my female chihuahuas, I wanted them to smell good as like a house hack, little furry air fresheners. This shampoo definitely holds its smell quite well. I thought I would like the smell for them and I don't mind it but I will probably use it for my boy Beagle mixes instead. My daughters want my chihuahuas to smell more flowery so I continue my hunt. However, I think this has an appealing scent. The shampoo itself is delicate, the texture is more liquidy than thick. It spreads easily (don't pour too much out, be cautious) and it lathers nicely. My one chihuahua is naturally soft and now she feels like a lush pillow after using the shampoo. My other chihuahua has a more rough fur and she is now soft too. I really like the product for what I'm looking for but I may try one of their other scents. If you like mens colognes, you will like this scent. And your pups will not smell like wet dogs, they actually will smell like the product. It definitely makes their fur nice and soft.

Offered to send me a fun treat for my pup all the way from their headquarters in New Zealand for my inquiry. Impressive! Highly recommend this product and company.
