Kittens, 1 yrs old, LOVE IT! YAY

Very simple ingred, which I like. Yes, it is shredded chicken, as chicken is, small, & thin. I add a small amount of this to their plate, pure real food, cut once or 2X w/fork, my 2 kittens have been eating it. I can't switch to other foods since one is allergic and sensitive. This added to their regular Hill's canned, on the side, small amount so no urinary crystals from high protein, gives them a little variety. I don't use at every meal, and I don't use as the only canned food on their plate. They love it!

IF ONLY . . .

pet food manufacturers didn't insist on SHREDDING chicken -- primary, and almost always, chicken. This is a deterrent to my cats, although they will tolerate it to a limited degree. It has taken much effort in search of wet foods my cats might possibly like. This product, upon opening, exuded a good kitchen smell like home cooking and had a very desirable amount of tasty looking broth that surrounded an abundance of chicken shreds with veggie bits, the chicken shredded so finely that it was almost in mounds. I say, by all means go for this if your cat(s) would approve. It is such good-looking, moist food -- and my cats were attracted by its smell -- that I haven't given up trying to make it appealing to them enough to eat.

cat with food allergies loved it

Food Allergic cat can eat it and loved it. My other cat that can eat without restriction also loved it. This is rare.

My Cats Loved It!

All my fur babies even the one didn't care for shredded meals loved it. So kudos to Snappy Tom adding flavor to their shredded meals.

Overall good quality but

They just won’t eat it tried adding water and warming it up no luck.
