Bought based on reviews- I was wrong

I bought this toy for my 9 month old lab who seems to chew through everything!! Apparently same goes for this. He gave it to him when the order arrived and not even

I bought this toy for my 9 month old lab who seems to chew through everything!! Apparently same goes for this. He gave it to him when the order arrived and not even a half hour later, little red pieces were coming off the top of the guitar. I was extremely hopeful this would withstand his chewing as previous reviews stated the toy withstood their dogs for a long period of time but this will now be going in the trash a half hour after receiving.
