Will this work on the new vinyl plank floors? They warn about certain materials cause the floor to yellow.

Rubber, both the natural and synthetic, is not safe to use with vinyl floors because it reacts with the chemicals found in vinyl and causes staining.

Is the backing latex based?

The backing on the Soggy Doggy Doormat is synthetic rubber (not latex), and it does not damage hardwood floors.

As far as taking care of the muddy paw prints I would give this product a five star review because it really does work the only problem is that it’s not slip proof

Good size, great absorbtion

I have this rug at the back door where my dog goes in & out to the back yard. Shady areas of the lawn don't have grass & so it is compacted soil in those areas,

I have this rug at the back door where my dog goes in & out to the back yard. Shady areas of the lawn don't have grass & so it is compacted soil in those areas, making my dogs feet very dirty come time to go in. Have no fear as this rug absorbs any mud and or dirty paws possible. As she walks across this rug her paws become clean & by the time she walks on the kitchen floor there are no little paws prints to be seen!

they really work

I have a large labradoodle whose paws are always wet and dirty after being out in the yard. This mat really helps with him not tracking it into the house

super cute but slippery

The absorption factor is there, the cuteness factor is there, but this mat can’t stay in place AT ALL. I spend more time putting it back in place or straightening

The absorption factor is there, the cuteness factor is there, but this mat can’t stay in place AT ALL. I spend more time putting it back in place or straightening it out than I ever care to do in a day. I got two of them and they are the most stressful part of my day every day. I thought the wet muddy feet were annoying, now I have wet muddy feet and a scrunchy rug with dirt that flys out of it .

Disappointed in the product. The color was not as pictured / described but a bright orange / tan color. There is already a pull in the rug after a couple of weeks

Disappointed in the product. The color was not as pictured / described but a bright orange / tan color. There is already a pull in the rug after a couple of weeks of use. It is like an old fashioned chenille bathroom rug only with a contrasting dog bone graphic added. Cute name / marketing. But this is the first product from Chewy that I have been disappointed in so am not a lost customer!
