Will this work on the new vinyl plank floors? They warn about certain materials cause the floor to yellow.

Rubber, both the natural and synthetic, is not safe to use with vinyl floors because it reacts with the chemicals found in vinyl and causes staining.
Is the backing latex based?

The backing on the Soggy Doggy Doormat is synthetic rubber (not latex), and it does not damage hardwood floors.

super cute but slippery

The absorption factor is there, the cuteness factor is there, but this mat can’t stay in place AT ALL. I spend more time putting it back in place or straightening it out than I ever care to do in a day. I got two of them and they are the most stressful part of my day every day. I thought the wet muddy feet were annoying, now I have wet muddy feet and a scrunchy rug with dirt that flys out of it .

Use caution before purchase

Disappointed in the product. The color was not as pictured / described but a bright orange / tan color. There is already a pull in the rug after a couple of weeks of use. It is like an old fashioned chenille bathroom rug only with a contrasting dog bone graphic added. Cute name / marketing. But this is the first product from Chewy that I have been disappointed in so am not a lost customer!

She’s obsessed!

Lizzie absolutely adores her new rug. I got the largest size which is just perfect for her. We leave it outside so she can enjoy it in the sun. Thinking about getting another one for our front porch area so she can be comfortable watching the horses pass by.

Good Purchase

I use this under the water bowl as I have 3 large dogs who seem to make it a sport to dribble water everywhere! My previous mat was trapping water under the rug and ruining my wood floor- no problem with this mat. I am very satisfied.

Super absorbant

This was a pricey buy, but I'm so glad I got it. Works great on wet paws coming back in the house. Love the XL size, it is big enough to really cover the entrance and give our Airedale a comfy place to lie while waiting for a human to open the door to let her out! This was totally worth it. Love it.

Almost great rug

I love everything about rug except it slides too easily. It needs a rug pad underneath it. It washes well and collects dirt from my boxer . I just wish it would stay in place better.

Dash of color, easy to wash!

The bright green looks lovely while helping protect my kitchen floor (and my socks.) I have three in there; one by the door, one by my dog's feeding station, and one at the sink. They also offer a soft place for my dog to hang out while I'm working in there. Awesome buy!
