Purchased as a booster to encourage my sometimes too picky eaters and while the Poodle would eat these, the Pyrenees would not. I found they smelled clean but felt a bit too greasy to the touch. I would not store these for long once the bag is accessed due to what I felt may be freshness issues. Unfortunately not the holy grail as a food topper for my spoiled crew!

I’ve never had this experience with a product I’ve ordered from chewy before and was quite surprised. I opened the topper to give my dog a taste and he wouldn’t eat it at all. So I investigated the bag a bit more and found that the entire bottom half of the bag had mold in it. Will not order the brand again. Glad my dog turned his nose up!

Weird texture but I'm not eating it.

I'm not a fan of the texture. It feels wet, there's a slight residue on the outside, gives the impression it would be moldable but it breaks apart. Its not dry either

I'm not a fan of the texture. It feels wet, there's a slight residue on the outside, gives the impression it would be moldable but it breaks apart. Its not dry either. I guess firm and moist. I thought I'd wrap his tick pill in it but it doesn't stick together. I'm not saying it's bad just unexpected. It looks squishy. Does my dog care? Not one bit. He'd say it was delicious. So texture aside its a yummy treat. The packaging calls it a meatball topper but can be fed alone as a complete and balanced meal. The feeding guidelines say at 5 to 15 lb dog we need a half to a whole pouch - 60lb would need around 3. I like it better as a topper or higher value treat.

Very natural and seemed to be fresh. The smell wasn't bad either, it smelt like how chicken and gravy would smell, like a home cooked meal for your dog in a convenient serving sized bag.
