Clean Plate Club!

I portioned this food to 3 cats for their dinner. All are in good health and range from 4 months to 9yrs old. I normally serve Friskies and the older adult cats

I portioned this food to 3 cats for their dinner. All are in good health and range from 4 months to 9yrs old. I normally serve Friskies and the older adult cats almost never completely finish their food. However, all cats finished their portion of this Solid Gold cat food and begged for more. I didn't notice any unpleasant odors with the food, and I appreciated the ingredients it's comprised of. I had 3 happy cats after their meal.

Great ingredients and portions

My cats do not usually eat pates but they did like these ones. They usually like to have liquid with their food so I mixed it with some water and they ate it right

My cats do not usually eat pates but they did like these ones. They usually like to have liquid with their food so I mixed it with some water and they ate it right up. I like that it’s grain free and has nutritional ingredients. The portion was perfect to split between my two cats. Overall, my cats enjoyed these foods and I will be trying other flavors.

No Bad Odor!

I received two cans of cat food. The first was Tuna & Sardine Pate in gravy and the second Flavorful Feast Indoor recipe Pate chicken in gravy. My cats enjoyed both

I received two cans of cat food. The first was Tuna & Sardine Pate in gravy and the second Flavorful Feast Indoor recipe Pate chicken in gravy. My cats enjoyed both very much! I spit the cans between them and my female cat is a picky eater who prefers dry food. She ate all of this wet food. The male cat ate it all as well. I also don’t normally buy anything that has seafood in it because of the odor but these didn’t small at all. The size of the can is purrrfect . That eliminates waste and is better for the environment. The can was easy to open. These were both in pate form so there was no noticeable “ gravy” but my cats didn’t mention it I would buy this if it’s reasonably priced or has coupons.

Helped increase wet food consumption

I have two cats to try this bundle. One in particular is not a wet food fan. Both seafood flavors were a hit, but having the gravy surround the shreds really helps

I have two cats to try this bundle. One in particular is not a wet food fan. Both seafood flavors were a hit, but having the gravy surround the shreds really helps my cat enjoy a decent portion. I was particularly fond of the meat being shredded thin and the hydration portion of the liquid. Overall, with the fact that this is grain-free with added veggies, it maintains a spot in the wet food rotation.

Cats sniffed this wet food and walked away from it. Hard pass for us.

My kitties love wet food and eat it twice a day. I was happy to receive the Solid Gold real tuna and sardine + mackerel & tuna grain-free shreds in gravy wet food

My kitties love wet food and eat it twice a day. I was happy to receive the Solid Gold real tuna and sardine + mackerel & tuna grain-free shreds in gravy wet food for them to try. My 12 year old cat sniffed it but only ate a few nibbles of it. My other kitties are 2 and 3 years old. They were curious about it but sniffed it and walked away. It doesn't have a lot of gravy in it which they love to lick up when eating regular wet food. Our kitties ended up eating dry food and let the wet food dry out. I ended up tossing most of it away. I can't recommend this wet food because my kitties didn't like it and they love wet food.

Wet food is primarily for my cat Bobert, as he has stomatitis and few teeth. He's also has to take probiotics, and is a bit picky with food. However, he loved this food and it didn't upset his stomach which is a plus. It its a bit smelly though (like most wet food). I have another cat named Pajama Steve, who does not like wet food at all. Can't even get him to eat tuna, but I caught him trying to finish off the rest of Boberts food. My 3rd cat Pancake, eats everything including this food. If they like it, I love it.

Note: I received these as samples to try. I had never heard of this brand before so was excited to see if my picky cat would actually like them. I spread them out so she wasn't trying new food on back to back days. First up: Real tuna and sardines. I opened the can and the first thing I noticed was how much "softer" the food looked compared to her normal food. I placed half the can in her bowl. She devoured the half and a few hours later was crying for more!!! I gave her the rest of the can and she are it all. Second: For the mackerel and tuna she was less enthused. She picked at it and ate some, but nothing similar to other can. I did look up the food to purchase but unfortunately it's twice the cost of the food that she prefers.

I received the SOLID GOLD Real Tuna & Sardine plus Mackerel and Tuna Grain Free Shreds in Gravy Wet Cat Food for free from Chewy to try, and I’m so glad I did. My cat, Peewee, is notoriously picky and usually avoids pate style canned foods, so I wasn’t expecting much. But she genuinely enjoyed this! The shredded texture and rich gravy were an instant hit. She ate it without hesitation, and when I opened the second can, she actually came running into the kitchen to see what was happening a level of excitement I rarely see from her at mealtime. The ingredients look clean, the portions are perfect, and the smell isn’t overwhelming like some fish based foods can be. Since trying it, Peewee seems more excited for her meals and even a bit more energetic afterward. I’m really impressed with this food, and I’d definitely recommend it especially if you have a picky eater. Big thanks to Chewy for the chance to try a new favorite!

I received two free cans from Solid Gold for my cat to sample and unfortunately he was not interested in them. I still want to give a solid review based on my opinion of this brand. The cans were easy to open and the size of the meal is perfect. I appreciate that the cat food itself did not have a strong smell! Sometimes wet cat food can have an off-putting smell, but these were tolerable. It is nice that there are multiple flavor combinations to choose from as well. I would recommend to other cat owners.
