How to keep large bag fresh? Will contents stay fresh in ziplock bags?

If you want to store the food in a plastic container, keep the food inside the bag and then place the bag in a sealed, opaque container. Store the food in a cool, dry place. Do not store the food in the sunlight or heat as it can speed up the decaying process and kill vitamins and nutrients in the food.

Easy on the tummy and delicious!

My dog is picky about kibbles and we would have to mix in wet food to encourage him to eat it but even this by it self is enticing and delicious for him to munch

Ingredient change and new bag

Received my order and got a different looking bag and it now says sensitive skin and stomach. Ingredients appear to be the same except for the addition of sweet

Received my order and got a different looking bag and it now says sensitive skin and stomach. Ingredients appear to be the same except for the addition of sweet potato ! Solid Gold website has nothing about the change and only show the old bag. My boy likes this food and does well on it and I don't think sweet potato will be a problem, but you'd think dog food companies would give you a heads up about changes ! Wouldn't have even noticed except the bag is completely different.

Amazing for The Sensitive Belly!

I’ve had my purebred boxer, Max, on this food for the last 5 years, and although I’m sure he gets sick of dry food unless I give him the soft solid gold food, this brand, and the fact Max loves the taste of salmon, the quality has served my boxer well! He has a sensitive stomach and foods he had before would make him sick or he just turned his nose at it. I wasted a lot of money. He hasn’t had an issue with this one and it has kept his coat beautiful as well! I have not turned to any other dog food since. I thank god Chewy has it because the local pet stores either don’t carry it or it is scarce. Chewy also always has a $20 off coupon that I utilize every time which is helpful for an expensive well worth it dog food! I highly recommend this as you get what you pay for is true!
