The boys loooove their Solid Gold.

These two 15 year old fusspots are accustomed to walking away from freshly ladled food and crying in my face as if there’s nothing in the bowl. This Solid Gold is a solid hit. They eat with the earnest noises that melt my heart! They are truly picky and fans of wet food! So when I can give them some healthy dry food to break the monotony of their wet diet ( and honestly to help ameliorate the cost of wet food ) , everyone wins and everyone’s happy :).

We switched back to this food after break from it as I was wanting to try a "healthier" food, but it cause vomiting and diarrhea in 5 out of 6 cats. Once we transitioned back to the old food, the GI issues improved. Use with caution, but something in this food does not do well with cats.

Trip to emergency vet

My cat got sick off of this food and the food was expired, even though the expiration date was for next year, I smelled the food and it was stale. Ended up ordering

I have been using this product for a few years now. I’ve noticed that I find less vomit piles (could be a lot with 6 cats!). My cats are not on free feed so they each get a specific amount along with some canned food. None of my pets are overweight and I attribute that to measured feeding and a quality grain free diet.

She ended up getting a GI issue from this food the vet said. I would stay away from this food. Also she hated the taste so she rarely ate.
