Cat loves it

I have a finicky 15 year old tabby. He mostly licks all other wet food but he actually eats the Chicken and Pumpkin! Looks and smells like real chicken.

Pumpkin is a great addition to cat’s diets

received one free can from the manufacturer. I have two cats. They eat dry food and occasionally I give them a bit of wet food as a treat. They both enjoy it. I split the can so they could both try it. Bubba is 2 years old and loved it. He usually picks out any solid pieces to eat first, then licks the bowl clean. He ate it all at once! My 5 year old Prince does not like anything other than his crunchy food. I have tried every type of treat and he will not eat any. He will eat a couple bites of wet food occasionally. Prince did not want to taste this. He just walked away. So not an unexpected response. I was initially told I would be getting a case of this to try. So how they reacted to the taste is the only review I can submit

I decided to try the Solid Gold Nature's Harmony Chicken & Pumpkin Grain-Free Shreds in Gravy Wet Cat Food even though my cat usually isn’t a big fan of wet food. Furst off (pun intended!), it actually smelled really good for wet food, definitely more appetizing than most. At first, my kitty seemed to enjoy it and dove right in, but she stopped eating about halfway through. I offered the rest to her the next day, but she just wasn’t interested. That said, she didn’t have any negative reactions or changes after eating it, which I take as a good sign. Bottom line: if your cat already likes wet food, this could be a great option. It just wasn’t the right fit for my picky eater.

My cat really enjoys Solid Gold Nature's Harmony Chicken & Pumpkin Shreds. She's usually very particular with wet food, but this one disappears quickly definitely a step up from the Purina cans she used to leave half-finished. The texture is appealing, the gravy keeps her hydrated, and the ingredients give me confidence that she’s eating something healthy and balanced. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is the price. While the quality is great, it’s a bit more expensive than other options, especially if you're feeding multiple cats. Still, for a picky eater with a sensitive stomach, it’s worth the occasional splurge. I’ll keep it in her rotation, just not every day.

I received the chicken and pumpkin shreds as a promotion to review the product. My 1 year old Nebelung girl is so picky when it comes to wet food, I was really skeptical. She typically will only eat a pate, if she eats her wet food at all, so when I opened this can and saw fine shreds of chicken in a gravy I thought we were doomed. I emptied the can into her dish and set it in front of her to see how long until she glared and me and walked away. She leaned in and gave it a sniff, then stood back and and looked me over. To my surprise, she leaned back in and this time decided to taste it. After a few more hesitations in and out of the bowl, she actually fully committed and ate the whole dang thing! She really seemed to enjoy the finely shredded chicken pieces, and not the compressed nuggets that you often find in a gravy style shred food. So now I have a new option to see if I can apease the princess in my mission to get her some extra liquids in her diet.

I received one free can from the manufacturer. I was expecting a case to test. Initially, I thought “how am I going to accurately and fairly review one tiny can?”. Boy, was I surprised! My cats loved the ingredients and the gravy was a perfect consistency! Both my cats devoured it and one of them is so picky with wet food that I can hardly get her to eat any. This is great because when she has respiratory flare ups, she needs liquid antibiotics and wet food is the only want I can give it to her. While I wish I would have gotten the case I was expecting , I am so happy I got to try this and found something they love!
