The powder form says for cats and dogs. Is the chew form not for cats at all?

I am a proponent of less is more & sticking to high quality, especially when it comes to nutrition with my dogs & horses. There are so many products it is easy to get sucked into thinking you need to add all sort of things. I originally got into seaweed supplements because of horses, and the immense health benefits & improvement I saw. I decided to give this a try for my dog. I have been feeding this daily to my working cocker spaniel since she was about 6 months old (now 5) and all I can say is this is worth it. Her coat is beautiful, I get comments from my vet about how healthy it looks. She hasn't had any allergies, and a very regular digestive system, for a dog that likes to sample a variety of foul things on walks and at the horse farm :) Highly recommend even just as a daily supplement. Picky eaters will be better with the powder form that can be mixed VS the chew. I think this is well worth it.

I like the variety of things it helps with

I feel my almost toothless 7lb Chihuahua needs a variety of good food, supplements, treats, etc. I feed Solid Gold and have since 2003 when it came highly recommended

I feel my almost toothless 7lb Chihuahua needs a variety of good food, supplements, treats, etc. I feed Solid Gold and have since 2003 when it came highly recommended to me by our local humane society. I feel a dog is like a human, they need variety, vitamins, supplements, healthy treats, etc. I'd rather spend a little more on that and have a happy and healthy dog that lives a long fulfilling life. His "brother" was a PomChi. I fed him Solid Gold also. He lived to be 18 1/2. He was blind but otherwise he was in very good health to the end: his heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, etc were all doing exceptionally well along with his hearing and nose.

Coat is soft and treats are simple to use

I had previously used Solid Gold Seameal in powder form, and it usually helped with skin and coat issues. I like the treat form even better because it includes probiotics

It is easy to give

Amazing results. My dog is losing his hair due to numerous allergies. This worked before and I stopped it. Then he has started having spots of thinning hair again
