I bought these for my labs and they don't like them. They spit them out and walked off. Wasted money. I will stick to there regular brand for now on
My dog won’t even eat them. So I assume she doesn’t like the taste.
Right after giving SeaMeal to my 1 yo dog, she started having bloody diarrhea. Needless to say, I stopped giving it. I had to take her into the vet. I can't say for sure whether the SeaMeal caused it, but she's better now and I won't be using it again.
I received these chews as part of a free sample program and have been very impressed with them so far. Both our Rottweiler and mini dachshund are heavy shedders and after a few weeks of using these chews there is a noticeable difference in the amount of shedding. They seem to really love the flavor of these, which is great for us because we don’t have to hide them in “people food”. Also, our Rottweiler has been a lot less gassy and she usually clears the room so that has been great! Lol The chews themselves are cute little heart shapes and while the smell isn’t the most pleasant, isn’t overwhelming. Our dogs get really excited when I shake the container and seem to look forward to their “morning vitamins” and it’s now a part of our routine. The price seems fair for a months supply, which is what we get based on the number of chews each of our dogs needs. If you have smaller dogs they’ll last longer since the number of chews they get is based on weight. Overall, I would recommend the Solid gold Seameal soft chews and definitely plan to purchase another container when we finish this one.
I received a free sample in return for my honest opinion. I have a 90lb, 11 year old, female American Bulldog. As she ages, I want to make sure I am giving her the best to ensure she is happy, healthy and comfortable and the Solid Gold SeaMeal soft chews have been an excellent addition to our daily nutrition plan. While my girl can't tell me what she thinks or how she feels, I can say that she has NO problem eating these chews; I give her two with her morning meal and two with her evening meal and I do not have to conceal them in her food...she eats them right out of my hand no problem. After two weeks of use, I have noticed that her skin is shinier, thanks to the Omega fatty acids and I also noticed her poop is not as hard when I clean up after her. I appreciate this brand making sure the supplements are grain free, are made in the USA and contains ingredients that are beneficial for my dog and her overall health. Taking care of my best friend is a priority of mine and I highly recommend these soft chews.
we got these for free from BzzAgent to try for a honest review! Macy has been taking these chews for a few weeks now.. These doggie chews, are super cute, they're little hearts! We got the Sea meal kind, it's supposed to help support skin & coat and digestive & immune health! Which is good for our girl Macy, she's a pit & boxer mix, and we're pretty sure she's got some pointer mixed in also! So far it seems to be helping make her wirey textured hair, softer (she's also on some other vitamins but we've noticed more softness since we've added these in as well) We have also noticed some "healthier?" looking #2s as well! Plus, when we give them to her, she thinks she's getting a treat! So that's a huge bonus not having to fight her on taking something that helps keep her healthy! Shes approximately 75 pounds so the container says she should get 4 chews a day. So she gets her breakfast "treats" and her dinner "treats" and she is so happy! And healthy which we love so she can be around much longer! So, so far they seem to be doing great!
I received a free sample of Solid Gold SeaMeal soft chews and I was curious if they’d help my maltipoo. She experiences allergies and tends to spend a lot of time licking her paws. She also has some anal gland issues and tends to scoot across the floor. SeaMeal is supposed to offer nutritional support to help with your dog’s skin and coat while also helping their digestive and immune health. I give my dog 1 chew with her dinner and she thinks they’re great. She’s typically pretty picky about supplements. In the past two weeks, the butt scooting has practically stopped. I have also seen her licking her paws about half as often as before. I’ve tried other supplements in the past that didn’t work as well as these. I don’t know if it’s the seaweed, flaxseed, or omega fatty acids, but they’re working well for her! I would recommend them and the price per supplement is very reasonable.
I have a small schnauzer and he loves these supplements. He’s very picky and has no issues with these. He has been using them for several months now and his fur and overall health are noticeably better. I will be repurchasing.
I received this product as part of a free sample program but the review is my honest opinion. I have been using the product for at least 3+ weeks. I waited to submit my review because I wanted give the chews time and make sure of the results. I have two dogs that I give these supplements to. Yes. Technically a nutritional supplement however, Rosie my 1 year old pug and Bosco my 11 ½ year old Boxer think these are their daily treats! Always excited to receive them. Pugs are known for having skin sensitivity. I noticed that her coat is shinier. She still sheds as much as she always has. Bosco our senior boy loves them. Being a senior dog you notice a lot more. His poop does seem to be of a healthier consistency than it had been. We go on a lot of walks so I get the pleasure of picky up the poop. I guess you can say I have the benefit of an up close assessment ;o\ I don’t particularly like the smell. However, I found the healthier something is the worse it seems to smell. I love the cute heart shape design. The reason I gave the supplements 4 star is the price point. Small dogs the price is not bad. You are only give one a day. Larger dogs like Bosco you need to give 3-4 daily. There are 120 in the container. So you go through them pretty quick if you have multiple dogs or large dogs. I would recommend this product to my friends & family that have fur babies. I would also share with them the cost. We all love our fur babies. If it works for your budget and you have a need they are great. These are a high quality supplement. Great for their specific purpose. Great replacement for treats.
My large dog has been suffering with skin issues for years now, mostly on his underside. He gobbled these up no problem (though he isn't particularly picky and will eat just about anything). I didn't notice any significant change for the 2-3 weeks he has been using them. His belly does look a little better but the change isn't obvious or significant enough that I can attribute it to these chews vs his skin just fluctuating on its own. I will say that they didn't make anything worse which is important for us. I can't specifically say that I would recommend these but I won't warn against them; worth a try I guess. I did receive these for free to sample as part of a program.
