Solid Gold Wild Heart sensitive stomach
After 6 years of feeding SG Sundancer dry food to my dog, we suddenly realized they discontinued it! We switched to the Wild Heart and adopted another shelter dog. They both seem happy with new variety although some key ingredients are missing- namely the turmeric. Hopefully it will be a long and healthy replacement for our seniors.
Solid Gold is Gold
Been feeding Solid Gold for two years to our boy Moose. When we adopted him as a puppy we tried several brands of high quality food but each one caused him terrible gas and bloating. After doing lots of research we decided to give Solid Gold a try and have been hooked ever since. The results we have had are proof of the quality in this brand and we love the variety of broths and wet food we can mix in with his dry food to add flavor and nutrients. Give Solid Gold a try!!
Working great for gluten intolerant senior dog
I have been feeding this for about a month and so far I'm very pleased with this food. I didn't know much about this brand and had been loyal to Nutro for several years but when they raised their price $30 in one month, I had to switch. My senior dog is gluten intolerant with a generally sensitive stomach so I was worried about the switch but she's actually been doing better on this food. She seems less "stomach-y" and her poops are way more consistent. She doesn't try to eat grass as much and, the real bonus, she eats this food readily with no need to add wet food, etc., which I haven't been able to wean her off of for three years. Crossing my fingers things continue to go well and there aren't any crazy price hikes with this food!
Dogs log it as a training treat
these tiny toy sized kibbles are great for a training snack, the dogs log them. I didn't realize it was toy breed sized kibbles when I purchased.
Must Have dog food!!
I recently transitioned my dogs to this food. They both have super sensitive tummies and when they had the first taste of this food they inhaled it! I have a 14 yr old pug and 2 year old Black Lab mix. Highly recommend!
Dogs love it
Used to hunt then the salmon fit but it made there breath stink so bad! They love the quail and it is best for all of their sensitive stomachs
Great food
My Australian cattle dog has been having a lot of issues and the vets are having a hard time nailing down the cause. He's been having bloody stool, intermittent diarrhea among the worst symptoms. I decided to try a new diet from the traditional chicken and rice diet loaded with carbs from grains. My research led me to solid gold and they put taurine in it to boot which was important to me. 2 weeks on solid gold and nearly all of his symptoms have gone away! He's having nice solid poops, and no blood anymore. This stuff is a miracle for my Rin.
Best Dog Food
Finally! I found a dog food that has stopped all my Shepard’s allergies. We found out he may be protein allergic , that was causing him lose stool, stomach upset, ear infections, etc. So our vet advised us to try any food that contain proteins that are not common. I searched for all brands that had exotic proteins and there really are only two Brands out there. I choose Solid Gold and went with the quail and it worked. Such a relief and happy my dog loves the food too.
omg the best
We have an older sheltie that has tummy and potty troubles, we decided to try this brand to see if she would like it, and wow does she love it and so does my daughters male dog. I can not believe how much they love the flavor and I have to say our female sheltie has not had anymore tummy troubles or potty troubles.
