This wet food ended up a great solution for not one but two applications. First, the kittens loved it - dove in and didn't come back until finished. The pate is very smooth and soft with a low odor. Thumbs up from them. Although this isn't the primary use for this pate, I also had an older cat that was on rehab and this was a great treat for him, as well as adding extra hydration in a yummy way. I only feed a teaspoon to him, but he said it was much better than his normal wet food. I would purchase this again - not only for the kittens, but to keep a can on hand to give to a kitty in need of a little extra hydration, nutrition and possible medicine-hiding.

I have two young cats that are a little over a year old. I chose the Kitten Tuna & Salmon purée for its ingredients, purée consistency and made specifically for kittens. The first three main ingredients listed are: fish broth, tuna and salmon and it is grain, gluten and carrageenan free which is great for sensitive stomachs. The purée consistency is much preferred by my cats as one of them has problems eating foods with gravy or chunks. Since I am currently trying to introduce adult formula to their diet, this kitten formula will help. When I first introduced the Soulistic kitten tuna & salmon formula to my cats, the orange tabby (Honey) started to eat very enthusiastically. The tortie (Maple) was a bit apprehensive and touched the food with her paw and started to taste it before eating out of the bowl. At the end, both finished their food, so I consider this food a winner!

The wet kitten food from Soulistic was a hit with our cats. They do not typically like pate canned food, but this brand they ate very quickly. I think maybe they liked it because the texture is a bit softer and less firm than traditional pate. The smell was not overwhelmingly fishy, but definitely hit the right notes to attract our cats. The cans are similar in size to other brands and we easily split the contents between our crew; there is a generous number of cans per package.
