I wish I could tell if it had pumpkin, or that it had more pumpkin. The broth looks and smells like a brand name chicken noodle soup. Not a hint of pumpkin. My cat

I wish I could tell if it had pumpkin, or that it had more pumpkin. The broth looks and smells like a brand name chicken noodle soup. Not a hint of pumpkin. My cat was happy to scarf it down at light speed and lick the bowl clean. She has a sensitive stomach but so far so good. I think we would use this only as a specialty treat, so I do wish the packets were smaller. There are a lot of ingredients in the list, I was hoping for less.

I know cat food is for, well, cats, but most commercial diets smell and look really gross (no offense to any cats reading this). I picked up these packets of Autumn Bounty Chicken Dinner from Soulistic because I am in a never-ending search for new meal toppers/additions for a cat that hates repetition, and I was impressed by how straightforward the ingredient list is on these. This is a pretty brothy mix with shreds of chicken and it looks... good? I proceeded to get the opinion of my two adult cats, and they very much approve. I appreciate that this product has simple, whole ingredients and a balance of nutrition. I would love if this came in smaller sized packets, so that I can add it to my cat's diet as a topper without having to store leftovers or waste any.

The packaging has an easy tear-off top, which would be especially nice while on-the-go. The food looked appetizing and smelled like actual chicken. Our 7 year old cat did not care for it. He prefers bigger pieces of food with a thick gravy. His sister is a smaller kitty, also 7 years old, and she did enjoy the food. She likes the small shredded pieces, which are easier for her to eat than other brands. She has a sensitive tummy, but does well with this food and liked the pumpkin broth. I liked that it had very natural and healthy ingredients.
