We initially tried this in the pouches, and there was no pumpkin. None. Pretty disappointing. This time we got the cans and we finally have pumpkin. Little square chunks of pumpkin. This looks and smells like human chicken soup. We only use it as a "treat". Our cat has a sensitive stomach and she does fine with a half a can a day.

As a pet parent, I'm very happy with Soulistic, and initially my cats seemed happy as well, but I realized soon after putting the 1st can in their bowls that they drank all of the broth and didn't eat the chicken. I attempted to interest them by mixing it up again and topping it with a little of their favorite freeze dried chicken, but nothing did the trick unfortunately. I will be trying again soon because I really want them to like this! If possible, I will update this review at that time.

Love the high-quality ingredients that come with this brand. If I had to come up with a con for it is that theres a lot of broth to meat ratio however my cat loves gravy/broth so to her its a win. The chicken shreds are so good quality they literally look good enough for us humans to eat. The pumpkin chunks are dispersed evenly throughout and not overwhelmingly. Id highly recommend this to add to your wet food rotation or as an occasional treat. Its definitely a good quality food.

When I opened the can, it looked like human food, with chunks of pumpkin in there, and smelled so good! Both Gus and Abby loved it! They ate it all and seemed quite pleased. I have both house cats and community cats that I feed. When I first opened the can it appeared to be a chicken stew. My first impression was that the acts would avoid the food as ity doid not smell or appear like other canned foods they have liked. I set down separate bowls with Soulistic in one, canned food in another, and dry blue buffalo in a third. I've been doing this for a week, and to my surpise the first empty bowl was always the Soulistic. I was beyond surprise.

I was really hoping I would love this product, especially with the pumpkin in it. The consistency was just shredded chicken in orangish water. It smelled worse than other canned food I've fed. I gave this to my younger fosters twice, and both times they got sick, throwing up and watery bowels. I ended up feeding the rest of that can to the stray cats and giving the rest of the case to a friend who cares for cat colinies.

My girl, Belle, is pretty fussy about wet food. We've tried a number of them. The shred texture seemed to appeal to her as it resembled bits of chicken, versus mush. She really enjoyed the liquid, but that seems to be her favorite part of most wet foods. Once the liquid was dry, she did eat even more of the chicken pieces, which is a big win for her.
