Luxury "ride" for my old man

Dandy is a 15 year old, opinionated, grey tabby. He goes to the vet once each month for treatment for early stage kidney disease. This carrier made his last trip easier for him and for the vet as well. It's large so his favorite pillow fit inside and he had room to stretch out. It's easy to open to access him for treatment and for helping him in and out when necessary. Also it's easy to clean and looks great. They noticed it right away at the vet's office! Dandy was not a huge fan, but he was definitely more comfortable during his trip to and from the vet. So glad I found this!

I really feel this is a great product . Lining up the sides to open it can be a tiny bit tricky, but not very. Also there are slim metal frame pieces that could slide out and be lost if you aren’t aware. The included bed is good quality and washes up well. Best of all it is simple to get a cat inside and also out of the side door. I will never go back to the old style box carriers!
Flimsy, arrived already damaged
Great idea but poorly executed. Incredibly flimsy, does not stay locked in place. I put my 14lb cat in and picked it up and the plastic is already bowing. No way

Took a trip to the vet and because the door opening is so large the vet could do most of the check up with the cat inside the carrier with door open. I left the carrier with door open on the floor for a few days ahead of the vet trip and the cat got accustomed. Great product.
Sturdy and larger
My cat is larger 19 pounds and the other carrier was a bit small for him glad he has something larger to be in that is easy to store and clean.

I haven't actually used these carriers yet, but so far they seem like they'll do the job just fine. I'm a little concerned about the closing latch for the main door,

I'm a little concerned about the closing latch for the main door, it seems to come open very easily. They'll be quite roomy enough for all but the largest of my cats. I like that they fold down for storage. I'll update this if my opinion changes significantly after using them a few times.

I did not have any trouble setting the carrier up. Others mentioned it was confusing or tabs didn't fit, but it worked for me. Pippin likes the soft cushion that was included and the big door on the side made it easy to get her into the carrie and then out of it at the Vet's. I go the XL size, which has lots of room for our modest sized cat. If I had gotten the Large or Medium size, it would have been easier to carry. The XL it a bit ungainly to carry but it will fit in the from seat of the car and the seatbelt fits around it. The XL size is worth it for the space Pippin has inside.

The door is not very secure, it opens with just a flip of the handle even a dog could do this with its nose if it came up to sniff your pet at the vet's office or
The door is not very secure, it opens with just a flip of the handle even a dog could do this with its nose if it came up to sniff your pet at the vet's office or accidentally open while placing it in your vehicle if it got caught on to something else it doesn't take much to lift it and open the door I didn't feel this was a secure carrier and I don't recommend it if you're taking your pet Outdoors maybe for an indoor crate or something

I work in a vet office and I have seen every carrier imaginable but this is the best. Easy to wipe down if your cat gets sick on the way or has an accident. Easy for vet staff to take pet in and out.
